I just got a little emotional at how perfect this game is. It was short and sweet and so important. Thank you for making a game worth playing.

To all those who object to the game's content on a moral level:
This is not preaching a lifestyle one way or another; in fact, it pushes the opposite: tolerance of those who live their lives in a way that is different from the norm. It is not saying that you should be gay or straight or lesbian or whatever--just to understand that there are people that fit into other "categories." In fact, saying that people can only live their lives one way is incredibly limiting, and without differences between people there would be no growth or change in the world, which are the most important things we could ever have in our lives.
It ain't worth it to judge, peeps. Love your way and let others love theirs.

is it just me or is the achievement not working.
And may i add: everyone in the world should be obligated to play this game. it should be given in schools. the message in the game is perfect, and it gives a simple representation of how relationships are in the world, and what urgently need to change

@pedved: It is only because of intolerant people like you that "The world is tougher for Sir and Sir", and that Madam and Madam have to "face obstacles". Learn tolerance.

Sure this one shows the kind of love called eros. Before this game can even talk about love, they should have talked about 5-6 kinds of love as the Greeks classified it.

As soon as I realized the agenda this game was trying to push, I clicked off and quit the game once and for all. I typically don't appreciate flash games that try to preach, but all the more when it's preaching something I morally disagree with. But at least they didn't try to hide their propaganda, and now I know put this game on my "NEVER AGAIN PLAY" list.

I love how you gave the positive and important message:
Sir and Sir can also love
As in gay people are exactly the same as all people. They just love the same gender as them.
Same with "Madam and Madam".
And how you said "They will face obstacles"
As in gay/lesbians face obstacles by being judged that they can't date who they want to date.
And also how love is painful, but sometimes worth it.
I don't actually know if you wrote those kinda messages in there, but that's what it can also act as.
I love this game.
It's so hard and challenging but it's so satisfying once you finally get them in the right spot.
And I love the positive message you put in here.
Also "messages" for the one's I found important and hidden. <3
Kong often features this game on Valentine's day so I check for any new comments – messages like this uplift me so much, I'm so glad this game is still connecting with people half a decade after it was released :)

Welp Valentine's day is soon.
I have no one.
My best friend has nobody ether.
I don't even have any friend's to give valentine's to.
My best friend moved to Florida if you're wondering.
I believe...
That we should all at least do something fun for everyone for valentine's day.
Because valentine's day's about love
Not just couples
Love.
So your family should turn valentine's day into something special if you have no one. <3

@HeadlesHorsemann Too bad, replying anyway. If you know what you're saying is terrible and expect downvotes and responses from "rabid fans", then why bother especially if hundreds of other people have already said the same thing you have? If you don't want downvotes, give more thoughtful critique than "SJWBait".

Alas, dont bother replying. I dont want to argue with someone being followed by rabid fans, and has a communicative advantage over me.
actually this game came out in Apr 2012, which according to google trends, is before the phrase SJW even existed #hipstercred #nailedit #theyregooddogsbrent

very nice if not a little simpler than i would have imagined. top marks for a very nice and above all inclusive game with no prejudices, as in all types of relationship in the game, bar a large number of weird types not related to the valantine concept

The message and the idea of the game just are awesome, and pretty cute. The game itself unfortunately is way too easy - none of the puzzles took me more than 20 seconds... in the one with 5 screens, the 5th even was in the right place by accident, after I just was focusing on four of them...

thank you soooooo much for such a beautiful game, stylish + yet simple. Something to wrap the mind around, but not too difficult so the topic remains in the foreground. Pretty fukcing awesome! <3'ed the "learn & help" button.

Apart from a LOT of trial-and-error gameplay near the end, this game was nothing short of amazing. A perfect commentary on an important issue without being heavy-handed or self-righteous!

Cute with a nice message that I certainly hope everyone can agree with. Everyone should be free to love. I really don't get why everyone is equating this with marriage though, which IMO is definitely about more than romantic love.

Every once in a while I come back to this game. I love the music. I love the story.
The structure of the game itself. Watching each soul, sometimes having to move, sometimes having to wait patiently in the right place while the other goes through whatever trials they must.

This game is good, but it's got a few things that I personally think stop it from being fantastic. The message is a little bit on the blatant side- it's told straight to the player instead of allowing the player to work some bits out themselves. Which is fine, it just reduces the impact a little as it feels more like someone's telling us something than us actually playing like the character and experiencing it on a more personal level (which when utilised to its full extent is one of the advantages of games over other forms of media). I'd point to examples like Pretentious Game for games which have messages which are presented very powerfully. Still, I like both the message and the puzzles in this game and as someone who's thinking of coming out of the closet soon as lesbian, it's very nice to see games like these exploring those concepts. It's just a pity this one isn't much more than the sum of it's parts. I'll rate it 4/5.

Nice game, but I had to lower rating for the propaganda load. And I don't care what this load is - I just hate when a game imposes the author's world view on me.

As a young lady who is bisexual it is incredibly refreshing to see this game :-) Lovely, simple game play and graphics and a message everybody should know about. Though I do agree with others about the aromantic thing, I see you wish you could change it as well! Your responses to negative comments are so amusing and civilized, it's great. I'm gonna go ahead and be a sap by quoting a song I love: "But we're all strange, and maybe we don't wanna change." Have an excellent day <3
