how to make a cannon work: first, make one of the steam generators conected to the cannon, make sure you put a fuse pipe with 60 configuration, then, put an joint connector, this will be the cooling system, make a pipe out of that joint conector, and put a lot others join conectors instead of 1 block pipe, but stream vent instead of end caps, and there is it, when the fuse pipe activates, the cannon will shot, and the vents will draw the remaining steam, reloading it, thumbs up if this helped!

Great game, 5/5 and fav, but I see some things that might be changed:
-tutorial- obviously, see other comments
-more opponents
-... more weapons? no, I think that 6 is enough (lot of combos)
-more valves? maybe 2 control valves, or one 3-step
- better flamethrower, maybe make second input with fuel instead of steam, and fuel tanks inside robot (optional)

I built a mech that I could switch the lever to either crouch, or stand. When crouching it'd do nothing, but while standing it'd charge then fire it's double cannons! Before that I had a double rifle system, but double cannons are so much cooler =p Hint for automatic cannon: (cannon)(joint-connector)(60psi-fuse-valve)(boiler). The joint connector is going to create a leak, you must stop that leak with a steam vent.

I think this game is supposed to be played by Electrical Engineers, I gave this game to my boyfriend (he is one) and he said it was very interesting and fun

i normaly HATE games like these. but adding the combat part to it really made it good. My brain is soar from completing all levels, and i never figured out how to reload cannon...but it was good game.
For everyone who no knows how to use gun here my system: Put the switching valve (not one u control) and a release valve to each one of the valves on the gun, set each one of these to 60. That way switchy valve will switch constantly from fire to reload, it kinda luck for it to shoot, put a tank in the system to hold more steam and have better chance of shooting.

tip for steam cannon. use the lever one end goes to tanks the other goes to vents a lot of vents. the more the better. have the tank side with a 60 pressure switch. when you fire switch to vents, vents drain and reload.

While this is a great game, it needs a tutorial. Even with the ? button, it took me an 1 1/2 hours to finish the first 2 levels.

I really enjoyed the challenge of this, but I never figured out what steam tanks did. I didn't notice a difference in pressure with them. I was able to beat it without them, though.
Also, the alternating music is really nice and a lot of fun.

It was..... good but too short more levels are a definate need, along with a tutorial perhaps but if it has to much detail in the tutorial all you would have to do it put the peices together so hence game would then equal boring. my suggestion is that you have more information about the items and perhaps some more better items and a little more room in the chassis and even more chassis? but yes in short : tutorial details, more levels, more items

this is pretty simple when you know what youre doing, for rifles, use two fuse valves, the one on top whouls be a lower PSI than the other one, for cannons, use need a venting system, flamethrowers are easy, just hook up steam, the buzzsaws are for moving enimies ONLY,the sledgehammer needs a 50/60 ratio of PSI and the jack hammer needs a 50/50 PSI ratio for it to start moving

First off I like this type of game however it is a little hard trying to figure out what every thing does even with their descriptions. A tutorial would be nice or at least something that can help the player more than just the descriptions for the different items. Rating I feel is between a 3/5 and a 4/5 (sadly kongregate only has whole numbers though so I will have to rate 4/5) ;)

so if you are interested in how to actually win, for the first level you want to be able to walk forwards and backwards with buzzsaws, that is enough. For the second level you want to use the repeating rifle (connect bottom chamber with a fuse valve set to 60) and the top one to steam. and also connect crouch to the control valve, then just crouch to avoid his bullets and fire with your rifle over time. For the third level (perhaps the hardest) use a cannon (use a fuse valve set to 60 also connected to a steam tank) and a jackhammer and crouch to avoid bullets, you only need to fire one shot in cannon and then let him come to you and he will be destroyed by jackhammer (use jackhammer with a alternator valve set to 50). THE FINAL LEVEL is quite easy, i used one jackhammer and crouched to avoid bullets. Hope this helps. Remember to set fuse valve/alternator valve with the spanner tool :)

the circles at the bottom are steam tanks, those are your fuel. you run piping to the different parts of your mech to run them. for example the flame thrower- just run a pipe to the valve on it. use an alternater valve set to like 2 or 3 to make it walk, and the steam tanks that you can attach are just like extra fuel. keep this comment alive so people will understand the game

To alexandnator : the rifle works with the controlled valve.(one side to the top valve and other side to the lower valve. top valve: load \ lower valve:shoot) hope this helps others too :)

To get the Cannon to work you need a fuse and an air vent there is still presure inside the cannon that must be removed before you can reload. Thought that might help alittle.

To people who have trouble figuring out how the repeating rifle works, it's really quite simple.
The steam connector at the bottom fires the bullets and the connecter above reloads. You need to use a control valve to alternate between fire and reload as the weapon will not function if steam is going to both inputs at the same time. The gun also fires better if you increase pressure with a pressure valve.

really great concept, it needs some work. One thing that would be very helpful is if you could see the flow of the steam through the pipes, it would make it easier to understand what is going on and troubleshoot. A tutorial, or maybe even example setups would help. more content obviously, both for part choices, and for game length. excellent game though,
