click on the SPECS wheel, it tells everything. Why do you guys ask how to walk, while there be the description, called "Walking Mechanincs"? Seriously, read the SPECS before complain for any tutorial. Challenging game, cool concept, avarage (but functional to the max) graphics. 5/5 here.

Way too hard because there was no tutorial to explain any points of the game. This game needs a tutorial, all who agree, press the plus button or keep this message alive.

NEEDS a 2nd. I have 2 suggestions, though: 1. More than 4 levels -_- 2. When pipes/tanks get too much steam, they will crack, which makes them leak. Or, you could also make a difficulty setting, with that included in high difficulties. Great game though, 5/5

yes in real life crouching improves accuracy which is why i question how to win the second one a melee assault your dead in two shots ranged standing you die in two shots so crouch and walk away from your computer for an hour or so

I'm pretty sure not having a tutorial is kinda part of the challenge. If you were actually doing this, you wouldn't have magical floating boxes giving you advice.

It's not bad all told, but it's too short, and it's outclassed by his later games. A nice early effort, but I'm still glad he moved onto other things.

it could just be that my game was bugged out, but when the boiler is hooked up to an alternator, it doesn't make steam. I know that I didn't screw up the pipes because I even put a gauge on the pipes connected to the boiler and it didn't budge.

It took me almost a year to find out that Krispykrem also made the codex of alchemical engineering and kohctykop. Then I said: OHH... now it makes sense.

I disagree with the people who say this game needs a tutorial. Too many "puzzle" games walk you through the first 3-7 levels and show you all the tricks you need to solve every puzzle thereafter. This game however, leaves you to figure out the best way to manipulate the devices given. It's not like inventors have a "how-to" guide on how to go about making new things. That extra bit of brainpower I have to put into experimenting in this game makes it a whole lot more fun. The core concept of the game isn't all that hard to grasp: steam goes from point "A" to point "B" via the pipes. It's the same basic idea as the flow of water or electricity.

can't figure out how the pipeing work because i build a design that should work i flip the switch and nothing! it dosen't fire!

Huh.
Don't crouch, peeps, if you plan to use a repeater rifle. You can't hit a damned thing. I though I was clever with my double-repeater rifle thingy.. But nope. It's been ten minutes and me and level two are just cursing at eachother and firing at the same spots.

Highest range-independent damage-per-second possible is achieved using one single cannon. Connect the two boilers using long pipes and one pressure gauge (not a steam tank). Somewhere along the left side of this long pipe create a T junction which leads to a control valve. Block the left side of the control valve and add a cannon to the right side. lead a direct pipe straight to the cannon off the right side of the switch. At the cannon end, lead a pipe off to one side made entirely of T-sections and on each of these T-sections add a steam valve. When in combat, wait for your pressure to hit about 50 PSI, then quickly flick the lever to the right and then back to the left, the cannon should fire and the many steam vents should cause the cannon to reload quickly without much loss of pressure overall. It is possible to kill the saber-weilding bot before it gets a third of the way across the screen with this technique.

to reload the cannon i used a LOT of vents, after you cut off the steam the rest of the pressure isn't released through the cannon so it needs to be released

While I agree that there should be a Tutorial for the various weapons, I found myself using a different design for each of the levels so a "design save option" wouldn't be that useful in my opinion. Pretty good game overall though.

Just when I understood how to load both cannons awesomely fast, while ducking from an enemy projectile it told me I've ended the chapter 1. :-(
Tutorial would be nice, but it feels great to think it out byself. :-)

ok, i dont think a tutorial is needed. EXTREMELY great idea, wheres ep 2?, More weapons, how come the last opponent gets a jetpack? Another steam tank would make it easier for melee weapons, I used the gun to defeat most opponents-it has a simple concept, the rocket didnt work for me. I like the sledge hammer. This comment will be rated down for the fact that i dont think a tutorial is needed, i betchya!

Well i added a dump valve and i guess there is no way to reroute the leftover steam as there is no dedicated line, and at 60~psi the single steam vent is not enough, as there is no mention of how much it will release per tick (?) could use some much needed outline of what to see without having to rely on previous built designs from google searches...

yea, this trial/error method is no more than educated guessing, got to mission 3 with trying cannons, and no way of making it repeat shot with fuse valve.... What does it mean new shell will be replaced when pressure falls??? what i need to route the pipes to s dump system?
