This would be a really interesting shooter with mouse control. Unfortunately, I'm not coordinated enough to do a button-based shooter. Stylish, though!

I was hoping to find a nice hidden gem on Kongregate. It had been a while. Love this, surprised to find it so far down the list.

Wow I got to the final boss but couldn't beat him...he's insanely though. Luckly I could survive a while by spamming satan's secondary weapon which does great damage and stops bullets. But in the end the boss's lasers got me. Great job on an original game though!

Return to menu button added to pause menu. You can toggle music and sound at any time by pressing M. Apologies for control issues - you can also use the arrow keys to move. All future games will have completely configurable controls. Thanks for all the great feedback.

Curious. It looks like you have some good ideas for the storyline, maybe you should try with something less lineal than a shooter?

Several problems:
1. Add some "return to menu" button so I can choose another ship if my first choice is not to my liking and so I can turn off the music without quiting.
2. Please keep in mind that some people have qwertz keyboards. For us Z and X are far apart.

Still broken after a full shutdown. Must be something is incompatible with my machine? It worked from my Vista box at home.

The danmaku old testament? I'm all for it. Only complaint is that the sound effects, trying to make music out of bullets doesn't work at all.

Its good but not great. 4/5
5/5 for the idea and design and such, but only problem I have is the some of the characters are really freaking weak. Personally, i find it really difficult to win w/o a homing first weapon or something to null bullets. Also maybe a powerup every now and then would be nice. :D

iv had a problem where if you press esc key, it freezes the game yet the units still go through there motions and the music continues to play...

THLycanthrope - that is weird, could you PM me with your system information? Browser, OS, machine specs? Not a problem I've run into.

Thanks, everybody! Lilith's laser owns when you power it up once or twice - can cut through enemies like butter. Cain's homing gun is always pretty weak.

The graphics and concept are good, the only thing that bothers me is the slightly steep difficulty curve. Overall the difficulty was'nt very hard it was just a steep difficulty up. The character choices were all different, with was good, and they were more or less balenced (although I couldn't find out how lilith got a measly slow shot rate lazer while Cain got a fast shooting homing gun). 4/5

Excellent. The retro graphics are good, although a part of me wanted more traditional ones. Good upgrade system and good difficulty level. 4/5
