I really like this game but here's my issue: I'm having a hard time beating the boss in Lvl 15. I'd like to go back and get more money so I can buy higher magic but even if I got the few stars I've missed it's not enough.
Any hints on beating that dude?

Bouncing off enemies usually doesn't work. At all. Which really sucks because you need it for one or two of the bonus levels.

One thing that consistently causes me grief in this game is the A button being jump and the up button being interact with chests and things. When I am using the directional pad for movement instinct is to push up to go up or jump. The settings are counter-intuitive.

99% sure the spin attack in the air doesn't help me make some of those jumps, but it does make me feel 100% more confident when I jump.

I don't give many five-star ratings, but this game earned one. Why? 1. It's difficult without being unnecessarily punishing. 2. It keeps track of your coin/chest progress, making level restarts way less frustrating. 3. It lets you choose your play style via equipment, which you can change as you go. 4. It has minimal, clear, and responsive controls. 5. It's cute and fun! == The biggest change I'd make is to allow the player to reset their spells, since you can find yourself really wishing for a different setup for a particular boss.

Sorry but I absolutely hate this type of game. The keys make no sense to me. I can't get them to reconfigure. It's more than I can remember to do. It's a cute game but I hate it.

If the Configure Keys option seems to ignore your keypresses, try clicking - that got it to respond for me. Annoying bug nonetheless.

The "configure" concept while neat, is totally fubar. A) doesn't explain that once you're in there, you're actually setting the keys and B) going back in a second time ignores all my inputs. Brutal. Can't play the game.

Wait didn't Matt and Natalie already beat Lance in EBF2 or is this supposed to take place before that? and I want to know who is no-legs because in ebf5 he could summon Godcat and in ebf4 only the special cats could go to the knew world and Godcat asked No-legs. I know that's a lot of questions but i'm really curious.

the jump key not being up is really weird, took me a looong while to get used to it... I'd have done the other way around, A to interact and Up to jump

i died , nothing happened, i just was still alive , but game over screen appeared and still can move , and won that one but i still lost so i didnt get to the next level , boss fight 2.

It's kind of a kick in the nads if you're going for completionism (the irony of which is not lost on me) but if you're able to master the controls, have fun! (Masochists...)

To beat the game easier: Mana staff,Magic hat+robe
spam heal and use thunder/seiken to enemy.Keep attack to provide your mp: use attack combo to knockback enemy or use jump-attack to bounce on enemy
To speedrun: Claymore, Viking hat+ Armor
JUST RUSH ALL ENEMY AND SLASH THE BOSS
To have some technique play: Katana Ninja gear+hat
Faster attack, higher jump. Great for bounce attack combo.
To become a tank: Any weapon, Knight armor+helm
Enemy's attack feel like tickle.
to become a weirdo: Umbrella, Magic robe, Viking helm.
Spawn attack magic that deal no damage or hurt yourself by healing magic. Floating like a balloon.
to become Matt: Pirate gear+hat+sword
Classic gear.

I found some glitches, so here they are.
1: White Screen Softlock
This one basically just softlocks the game if you exit the tutorial through the pause menu.
2: Down-Air Noclip Glitch (7-3)
(mind the name, i play Smash a lot.)
When you perform a downward attack mid-air while in the middle of a solid wall's side, you have a chance of clipping inside and falling to your death.

Impossible on easy, using max damage health and using heal magic and almost got him to 1/3th health once.
Gave up because of it being impossible

Sometimes the game freezes and in result I can fall through the platform and if there is nothing under that platform I lose HP.
