Playing the first level, I was like "wtf? this isn't bullet hell... then by the 2nd level I was like "woah woah careful there" and by the 3rd level I was like "omg omg omg omg" and finally by the 4th level I was shaking my fist at kupo707.

Don't you hate it when you've just destroyed the boss, you're on 1 HP and then you get hit by a left over bullet and die before you actually win?

This game is really quite beautiful. The way the bullets move with the theme in each level is really quite elegant and the bosses really exemplify this. I've never been a fan of bullet hell games but this one is still quite good.

Personally I don't think Matt is a good choice. Sub-weapon is effective at close range only and it's useless for levels that require distance from the enemies. Lance is a good character instead, good at distance, a must have for "avalanche". Nat is a tank, main weapon is powerful and sub weapon is devastating if close or surrounded by enemies. No-legs is good to kill surrounding enemies with sub weapon, but it's mediocre compared to Nat. Anna is a surprise: sub extremely useful for "oblivion" and "survival". She allows you to concentrate only on dodging keeping a good and constant fire rate. Good game.

If you'll make a sequel, I'd like a option for disabling coins after I've bought all the upgrades, since I get confused with a coin by a bullet and try to dodge it, which made me get hit by a bullet, costing me lives. Also, If you can, I'd like a multiplayer of bullet hell where I can play with other players or an arena where I can battle with battle with other players and rank up. + if you agree.

I don't think that colliding with an enemy should count as a kill, although this might just be frustration at the pacifism medal talking.

I absolutely adore this game! It's a great Flash counterpart of the Touhou series, with wonderful graphics and ingenious gameplay - I would even go as far as to say that this game is one of flash gaming's finest masterpieces, it's the best top-down shooter out there, after all! I would have enjoyed if there were a badge for S-ranking all 24 levels, but nonetheless it was a wonderful experience. This game definitively is one of my favorites, as you may have guesses by now, and deserves a FULL 5/5!!

This is really fun, I'll be sure to play the sequel when it comes out. :3
Anyway, maybe you should have the bullets shooting bullets shooting bullets in a bonus level or a later survival wave, or something in the sequel. It'd be challenging, but probably fun too.

Tip on earning the hard badge: If you get an A- or S-rank on one of the bonus levels, it counts towards unlocking the other bonus levels. You can do these instead of trying to A-rank Level 20 if you're having trouble.

Real nice shooter. Tip for those trying to get the hard badge, getting an A on bonus levels counts for unlocking more bonus levels. Also if you use Nolegs you can shoot the star's on the sub-weapon right into mini bosses for massive damage.

Why would you ever press retry? It resets the money you've earned on that level, however if you press next, you get the money (yes even if you fail the level)

Instead of wasting thousands of coins on upgrades, why not just get a bulletproof vest?

I really like game, but if you make a sequel or update this one could you add some counters that can help with acquiring medals? For example a bullet counter would help to see if you could get bullet hell (and probably when it's the best time to use a bomb) and a progression bar (or wave counter at survival) could tell you whether you should conserve your bombs or not. Lastly it would be great if you had the scores/waves needed to attain each rank visible. Keep up the good work!

I feel like the alternative characters didn't get enough attention. I would love to see the other characters as viable options, but Matt's main attack is the easiest to use, and is still the most effective. I see how the extra swords on a higher charge give more spread, but it results in a ridiculous single-target damage as well. And since there is no penalty on the use of bombs, Matt gets a free bonus.
I'd love to see Lance and Anna excel at single target fights, but that did not seem to be the case.
