To me, Nanaya, the difference that matters to me is the fact that you can use mouse controls, which REALLY makes life much simpler since controls are much easier.

You've clearly never played Touhou, amigopen. There are different things to consider when comparing the two games, but as a broad generalization, this whole game is like super easy to normal mode on Touhou. Part of that is because the player in this game is too strong with upgrades; if you had to actually spend 20-30 seconds on each boss attack without so many lives and bombs to get you through, then Oblivion would be more like a true extra boss.

The protip for beating the last bonus level is to have fully upgraded everything? Lies! I don't think I could have done it with a fully upgraded computer.

basically, its like this compared to touhou: first five levels are easy, second five are normal, third five are hard, fourth five are lunatic and last 4 are extra, right?

@bluppo9 :P Thank god the creators didn't replicate "And then will there be none?" because that spell always screwed me over in the flandres encounter. Allthough nothings more annoying than "Scarlet meister" I swear to god that attacks undodgable.
But yh, this sets the standerd for flash bullet hells. I vote they use U.N Owen was her? for the sequals final boss encounter :3
(Sorry for all the touhou 6 references, as you could guess, I love that game)

wish we can make the coins invisible.
when you are fighting large mods, the huge flow of coins blows your view of the bullets, and it's really really hard to dodge.

I really like game, but if you make a sequel or update this one could you add some counters that can help with acquiring medals? For example a bullet counter would help to see if you could get bullet hell (and probably when it's the best time to use a bomb) and a progression bar (or wave counter at survival) could tell you whether you should conserve your bombs or not. Lastly it would be great if you had the scores/waves needed to attain each rank visible. Keep up the good work!

Obviously highly inspired by such games as Castle Shikigama 2. Long have I loved said game for it's unique bullet mass and pixel hit box. This 'version' of the type of game is increased in value with upgrades, which who doesn't love those? It takes a massive amount of awe from my end to post a comment, but you have done very well.
A few suggestions would be storyline, more music options, in game volume control, more viable 'focus' ability (possibly with energy bar), equipment options (weapons, armor, accessories), and a stats page (more in-depth health, damage, defence, agility and possibly evade)
And finally; Thank you. Great work, great series, wonderful devotion. 5/5 & Favorite.
