for previous comment: need Mana Leech skill to get 200 on the Legendary hit. without it you can only get about 150 mana. also, obtaining the 40% bonus to legend amps this attack.
side note: why does using revive on a live person (autolife) wear off so quickly? mine seemed to wear off in about 2 turns... it should last longer i think

Yay!! Finally got the big un.
Tipses: Use Scan Bot in normal mode to discover the weaknesses of each enemy. Having Matt have the correct sword equipped (while keeping changes to a minimums) and using the correct skills is crucial. The slime bunny is a critical friend, and "Spirits" HATE the anarchy sword. Keep the offense and defense buffs running as best you can - it's the only way to keep up with the damage done to ya in Epic mode. As tempting as it is to take out the "boss's helpers" first, don't - they almost always regenerate faster than you can take out the main boss, so it's usually best to take that one out first. Besides that, be as lucky as h**l. Ok, hope that helps everybody!

How to beat: 1) Dead hydra heads: I suggest using the normal sword against them because its element is light (the hydra weakness) and the unleash blinds (very useful for making it miss). With natz try to cast revive on the characters this will give you an auto life for 3~4 turns and help survive the instant kill attack. Each instant that you will survive will give the attacked char his special attack, matts attack dish out an amazing 10k damage per hit and if combined with natz special he can go up to 16K+damage per hit!!(That can easily crush more than half of the hydras hp) Finaly try to lower both heads hp at the same time and kill them both in the same turn if possible or in the next few because otherwise one will ressuract the other. + My comments if helpful!

@LongGun-Great strategy for beating epic mode!! I followed your instructions exactly like you said, but one suggestion. After doing all that you said, you should try to Bunny! (Natz) and Bunny!!! (Natz) for maximum healing power. To get these two skills you have to use slime bunny for a wave (found in the summon section for Natz). Just a suggestion. Oh yeaah boi,picked my 4th impossible badge on the game!|Hints:as everyone say,pick secret weapon,air suport,cat master and cat tamer and also cast a lot of thunderbolts to pick natz thunderstorm stun ability,before the desert worm battle,equip the blizzard sword to make the things easier.in the 3rd stage,try to get:counterattack and Survivor for Matt,Elusive and Mighty Mage for Natalie(Mighty mage also boosts evade,so it helps a lot) and try to get defender,which doubles the effect of defend when you are close to the final boss,equip the blood sword.when you are on the battle,try to always let one boi with revive status:an specific valkyrie attack can kill both easily.when you are on the second stage of the boss,try to stun lance,and use a lot of air strikes to damage the tank,the whole battle is just defend,revive,and Matt's limit breaker on the tank.hope that helped someone,and GG guys

The good thing abut the impossible badge is that, when you earn it, the emblem will get colored, resulting into the displacemnt of infinite gallons of nosebleed

for the hydra u need a bit luck. at first blind it with flare and then attack with holy and fire. try to kill both heads at once because 1 will allways revive the other. actually it can happen that both heads use that insta death skill and u lose but that doesnt happen very often.... soo i hope that will help^^

valkyrie tank epic mode: Matt; Defender, venomous, swordsman, counter, counterx2, cat tamer, cat warrior, secret weapon, aerial support; for attributes put them all in def and m. def natalie; slime bunny! and slime bunny!!! the rest doesn't matter. when the battle starts switch to the blood blade and the defend for the rest of the fight don't let matt do anything else. let natalie die and eventually the boss will die. with this setup even 2 nukes can't kill you and you'll be at full health almost right away

Do not follow a guide blindly. One's way of obtaining the badge doesn't guarantee the others can obtain the badge the same way as well. RNG can really destroy a run here.

Thanks to all the great commenters for tips and Wiki for the Trait list! I finally cleared Epic with these (in order of acquirement). Matt: 1) Aerial Support 2) Cat Warrior 3) Secret Weapon 4) Counter 5) Defender 6) Swordsman 7) Berzerker* 8) Survivor* 9) Venomous 10) Mighty Warrior* *Counter x2 would help a lot in place of any of these. Natalie: 1) Immunity 2) Mighty Mage** 3) Angel 4) Magic Counter 5) Bunny!!! 6) Immunity x2 7) Astrology** 8) Bunny! 9) Astrology x2** 10) Elusive** **Magic Counter x2 might've helped more, but doesn't really matter in the end. When you meet Valkyrie tank, just equip Blood Blade and defend with Matt 'till you win. Natalie doesn't matter exactly because she's dead most of the battle anyways (you can speed stuff up while she's still alive tho). Hope this helps and good luck!

Extra tip for those going after the impossible badge: If you use Slime Bunny enough as Natalie, you should get a Bunny!! upgrade option where Slime Bunny heals more, then another one where it's a random summon. Helped me get the impossible badge, would recommend getting those upgrades.

i just spent 15 hours completing EBF4 cuz i can't save lol. Games All day Every day. :P ---btw other way to beat the game on epic is to first get cats and air support/secret wep and get healerx2 for natz and what you want after it :)

Epic Batte Fantasy 2 was most Impressive to enjoy. I have to say, the sequel is more developed then the first game I can handle most difficulties except “epic mode”, too hard even for me say. The enemies were tough, but with enough effort, there’s no way for any player to loss or admit defeat. The third "Epic Battle Fantasy" might be more challenging then the previous ones.

I love the game, i just wish that scanbot didnt cost anything, only a turn. I mean, I love to scan bosses and new enemies, but sometimes i wont just in case ill need that extra mp.

I'm sorry, creator of epic battle fantasy series. I can't seem to really enjoy such a good rpg...without the system bugging my keystrokes on the minigame! XPPP Could you do a big favor and try to improvise on this situation? I would appreciate it. FYI: great job, with the impossible difficulty. Love it :D
