If you are struggling with Valkyrie's ION cannon, just use Naz syphon on Valkyrie. There is 90% if not 100% chance that he gets affected. And as other said, use revive on your characters (give them auto revive). This is very useful when those nuke comes.

Part 2: I used the stone sword for its extra defense, but I suppose others may also work. Oh and I beat the game without counter 2, so if you miss it dont worry youll still win, just take longer.

Part 1: Finally got the impossible badge. Some tips for the last boss: get venomous for Matt, as well as defender and every counter and air strike ability (your damage comes from them). Matt will basically do the last battle by himself, dont, dont try to keep Naz alive. Just use defense every round. The tanks freazing you, trying to poison you, sealling you, firing like crazy at you, nuking you, what do you do? Defend, nothing else. Oh and just a heads up, after the tanks dead the turrents that are still there go with him, so dont hesitate in going for an all in if you know hes going to die. I spent around seven rounds with the tanks life bar so low I couldnt see it scared to not defend and die in one round. Invest all points in defendse and magic defense, Matt will be able to take two nukes at a time while defending and still be able to laugh out loud.

just now completed the impossible badge, all counter attack traits and air support are surely helpful, and always cast revive on living character so they can benefit auto life buff benefit !!

You know im dissapointed in this game could be easier plus there is a glitch on the guardian that makes it very hard to beat 2/5

The beholder used his hidden attack on a jellyfish...I can't decided if that's bad or not, I mean, they both have tentacles...

If you're playing epic difficulty, kill Lance(the guy in the tank) before killing the tank of the weapon, because if you let him live too long, he'll start spamming the ion cannon, and you cannot survive it for long

I would have to say my only complaint about this game is that fact that even if you have autolife on both Matt and Natz, if there is an attack that kills both of you it's game over. I don't know how many times I've almost had the Epic Tank almost dead (as well as me) and it sets off an attack that kills both of us and we don't revive. :(

FYI, poison DOES stack against the worm boss. I thought that poison was a one time thing. After you do poison enough times the worm boss will be taking 20-30K in passive damage by the time you can kill him.

this is really cool ... characters are so busy running, between enemy waves, that they don't have a time for potion party ... somehow nice game but i don't like some game play mechanics ... GAME OVER

I am not even a big fan of the whole anime genre, but I have to say this game was actually quite fun. Heavily animated and well described made the game more enjoyable for those who aren't a big fan of this genre. Not to mention the cute quirky commentary was the icing on the cake.

controls for survival mini game are terrible ... delay between attack and move is to way long [i looks like character is kind of frozen for a second] and makes movement/attack bit to much random, especially when turning around trying to retreat - in fact there is no retreat ............... and those brown fountains over brown background indicating new enemy ... really "brilliant" idea ... if enemy is to emerge just where you are, this means death with no option to avoid
