Post 1 of 2: One of the ways to beat "Epic" mode is to obtain all the "passive" and "counter attack" Traits Counter attack, Counterattack X2, Air Support, Cat Master (Matt) Magic Counter (Naz) You can only get Air Support (as well as Secret Weapon, an upgrade of your Air support) after using Air Strike a lot in 1 wave, it appears as an option. Cat Master/Cat Tamer (Makes no-legs appear randomly) Is only obtainable after using no-legs a lot in 1 wave In the first wave (Cat town) Have Matt constantly use Air-Strike to attack, never make him swing once, have Naz attack with her melee. after you kill the boss you should have AirSupport/Secretweapon availble for Matt to choose (pick Air-Support) and Naz should have the option to pick "Mana Leech" which will allow you to drain mp from monsters with Naz's Melee attack.

Dev on the impossible badge "I'll admit that this seemed a lot funnier 6 years ago". So how's thst "youthful immaturity" feeling now over a decade later? Feelin' old yet? I know I do :c

I don't know why the left and right keys don't work to play the survival mini game in Firefox, but it works using IE (I didn't try using IE Edge).

Okay, how do you save your game? I keep getting to the Guardian, but always die and then I have to go through the first 2 areas all over again because I haven't saved.

I'm sure the BOTD would be very easy to get... IF the arrow keys would work. :-/ Strangely enough, the up and down arrow keys work fine, but the left and right arrows don't work at all for me, so the only way I can attack enemies is to do an air strike and the only way I can pick up treasures is if it's right on top of my starting position's hitbox. :-( Yes, I have the latest Firefox and Flash player. NO, I won't be using IE, Google Chrome or any other browser from a spyware company. Any idea how to fix this?

Impossible badge tip: try to get Natz's traits "Bunny!" and "Bunny!!!" by summoning the slime bunny a lot. The first increases its healing by 40% while the second calls it randomly like airstrike (which you should also try to get), for me I only summone it myself once in the last third of the game and the second trait kept it going until the end. It definitely made the whole the hydra boss far easier and fighting the last boss almost trivial as I didn't have to waste turns trying to spam heal and could concentrate on doing some actual damage.

This tank at the end was pain in the butt. Can't actually count how many attempts i had to beat it. Thunderbolt and air strike do the job. Don't forget about cat tamer!

I haven't played the first one, so sorry if I sound dumb, but the characters look like they are from adventure story. Are they and I am just dumb?

So apparently, on Epic mode lance killing himself AND you at the same time with his Ion cannon actually gets you the Epic badge.
I'm so happy right now.
