Last boss, When 2 nuke appear, have Matz get autolife with Naz's revive skill (give autolife to living member), and get Matz in Defend pose to survive from the attack round

When a badge is listed as "Easy", I kind of expect it to be... you know... EASY! Especially when the game itself is set to easy mode. The apparent lack of save is also a giant "freak you" to the players. How did this thing ever get badged? 1/5.

For the valkyrie, apply autolife whenever possible, use Natz' and Matt's ultimate attacks whenever possible (try to chain Natz' into Matt's cleaver. his boosted attack coupled with debuffed enemy defense makes a noticable difference in damage dealt), and focus attacks on the valkyrie itself (only attack nukes for obvious reasons, lance to avoid him using the ion cannon, and coolers, which hit hard and inflict obnoxious status effects). Leaving one of the less harmless guns prevents dual nukes from spawning, which greatly increases your odds of success. Hopefully this helps anyone going for the impossible badge, because the picture for it is glorious.

For the zombie hydra boss, try to always have autolife on at least one person (preferably both to avoid dual instant death), and attack the heads evenly until you can finish both off in one turn (I've seen the surviving head go four turns without reviving the other, and have also seen it revive the head one turn after it died, so better to be safe).

For Natz, use thunderbolt during the first section exclusively and get the thunderbolt skill (increases the chances for thunderbolt to cause stun, which is good against the valkyrie which is weak against electric), also get the skill that increases elemental attack damage, the angel skill (randomly casts autolife on Natz), and the immunity skill (and immunity x2 if it shows up, which makes Natz fully immune to all status effects). The other skills are variable, choose whichever you think would be most useful. For stat increases, I increased Matt's magic attack twice (to boost air strike's damage), then attack once, then defence and magical defense twice, then attack (final stats for Matt should be 6 attack, 6 magic attack, 7 defence, 7 magical defense). For Natz, increase magic attack twice, then each stat evenly (final stats were 5 magic attack, 6 defense, 6 magic defense).

Sorry about spamming the comments, but I just beat epic mode, so I wanted to leave a few tips (some of which are covered by one of the top comments, so give credit to them for parts so the strategy). Definitely get the aerial support, secret weapon, cat tamer, and cat warrior skills (use air strike constantly in the first two sections for the first two skills to appear, the summon no legs a few times for those two skills to appear). Get counter for Matt (and counter x2 when it appears), and definitely get survivor if it shows up (it gives Matt a 30% chance of surviving a strong attack with 1 hp, it saved me a lot against the last two bosses).

The earlier bosses are doable with strategy; the guardian can deal crazy damage but is effectively neutered by buffing defense and debuffing the boss when Natz's ultimate heal is available, the golem hits hard but isn't bad once you buff defense, and the sand worm is dangerous if it poisons you but is manageable if killed off within a couple of turns after it respawns its tail. Just focus on using Matt's air strike skill frequently (and choose aerial support and secret weapon skills early) and use autolife during boss battles and you should at least reach the zombie hydra without much trouble.

I was two hits away from finshing off the final boss on epic mode before an eectric spamming satellite dish and a nuke made me almost break my computer (Matt had autolife and full health, but the satellite killed him in one hit and the nuke killed both Matt and Natz). Anyway, epic mode is mainly difficult because the last two bosses can spam instant death attacks; zombie hydra will frequently dual cast death (which seems to ALWAYS kill on epic difficulty), and the valkyrie has lance who can randomly use the ion cannon to wipe you out (and will rarely succumb to seal despite being vulnerable to it) as well as dual nukes, which is basically game over unless you can dish out insane damage in two turns.

You might think that the hidras' dual instakill is bad, but at least it doesn't have the turn of dreadful anticipation of valkirie's dual nukes.

the guardian boss is impossible on epic. It can damage in one round over 10k. Nothing can defend against that.
And if your stuns don't work you're bummed. really crap. Tough and tactics is one thing. outright impossible is another.
