My strategy for Epic Mode: Matt(Main DPSer: Berserk Helm, Soul Eater, Genji Armor. This combination allows Matt to do massive damage. Who needs control when you deal 3X as much damage and take 1/2? Natalie(main Healer and Buffer): Equip Dark Tooth, Whitemage's Dress, and Pope Hat. Whitemage's Dress casts regen, Pope's Hat has good stats, Darktooth increases healing output. Lance(Main mobber and Teradrill): Equip Soldier Helmet and armor, plus shadow Blaster. Soldier Helmet casts Medpack, Armor casts Airstrike, Shadow Blaster increases Magic Attack for better mobbing abilities. The strategy is to use Kyun and Bullet Hell/Plasmacross as much as you can. Matt dishes some serious damage when Zerked (30K+ at level 30), Lance's Drill also does 30K+ on a buffed Akron. Natalie should mostly be using Purify and Healmore, sometimes Dispel when needed. When someone dies, after reviving let Lance use Guardian to get the buffs back up. Hope this helped!

Oh, f***, I can't get into the last secret area thanks to the minigames. I'm starting to hate skeletons and falling rocks ;_;

I like how i used noleg in fight and he gave a hamburger to Nat who was almost dead, also giving me the medal for free =P

Alternate Strategy for Akron (Epic mode): Get 100 or 90% dark resist on all players and try having some instant death resist (rune blade lv5 for Matt is a must). Always have Matt with autolife and the party with almost max health and regen (that way you're invincible). Use skills which targets all foes and never attack a single target if not the boss itself. When he rises from earth, he attacks almost only with dark spells. Keep autolife and heal while attacking, he should die without a problem unless you are really unlucky (like having 2 monolith healing the boss when he is resistant to darkness. Consider syphoning the monolith with unleash and the rune blade until Akron changes element, or kill them if you feel you can). Last thing: debuff the boss if he has magic attack buffed.
note: I used 3 pizzas and around 10 coffee to kill him on epic mode. He wasn't that hard.

!!Spoiler Warning!! When you have collected all 60 medals, the "Death" who said "..." in the volcano area will be gone and you can access to the last medal-secret-room. And the three characters will say the following: Natalie--"I guess this is the part where we've finished everything the game has to offer, and we're given some bribes to keep playing a bit longer."
Lance--"Man, this game sucked. The plot hardly got anywhere. I am truly dissapointed."
Matt--"It's really over? I wanted to kill more stuff."
Natalie--"I guess so. Thanks for playing!" There isn't any god weapon but mainly Misc. & Stat. food. Good luck everyone.

For those looking for that last treasure chest in Rock Lake: It's in the bottom center screen and is covered by the menu button. Otherwise 5/5

It is a good idea to use non-elemental weapons on Akron to because then you won't have to waste your time switching your equips. And if he starts on Holy use the Soul Eater.

@FairuzS1 If you give matt the gaia sword or something (the one that boosts earth attack), give him a beer with lance, use nattalie to cast barrier and regen (there always is a wave before the monoliths) and use matt's earth attacks they're not a single problem even on epic.

The chest underneath the menu on the fourth game screen of the lake is not marked. I've been looking for that for ages!

Found out one thing about the Pyrohydra:You can damage the 2 remaining heads to a little hp then finish both quickly. That way you won't have to fight one head with massive offence for long.

I agree with Erato, a section that details enemy drops would be very helpful.
I'm cheap I do not want to buy items unless there is no other way. >_>

Cosmic Monoliths may give you massive EXP, but they take a godforsaken amount of time to kill. I spent probably 20 minutes to attempt to take down a pair of 2 of them in Space at level 29, trying to level up to 30. Every time one of them got within one turn of dying, one or both of them healed for 18k-45k hp, and the same attack that healed them ALSO debuffed my accuracy, and they were already too terribly hard to hit with 15 evade. THe fact that they can buff their evade MORE doesn't matter due to Dispel, but Lock On only can be used on one ally per turn, and can be dispelled by one of their hits, as well as reduced by their healing hit. I would strongly suggest NOT trying to kill Monoliths for exp in Space. Kill the Hydras instead, they give a ton and are 10x easier.

The area of the lake with the 20 medals NPC has a treasure chest missing from it on the map. It's 2 tiles up and 1 right from the shell in the top right, hidden beneath the menu button.

Oh, btw, when Akron charges that giant black ball of death, DEFEND IMMEDIATELY, Kyun if it's up. If at low HP, make Lance use a pizza unless Kyun is up, in which case use that, always.

Tips for epic mode: Protect, Regen, & Magic Barrier, and Milk & Beer are essential, as well as poison skills for poison-able bosses & strong enemies - especially holy dragon head. Make sure to loot the medal areas. Give all attack points to Matt and magic & evade to Nat~. As for equipment, when you get them, use (upgraded) pirate gear + viking helmet + any/heaven's gate +++ Star Hairclip + any/whitemage’s robe + the starting staff (counters with Lucky Star) +++ Shadow blaster + army jacket + any/gas mask--- With buffs, airstrike, star shower, poison, and berserk'd narwhale summoner Matt, most enemies and bosses will be easy to kill. Give Dispel to Natalie & Power Metal and Guardian to Lance. Nearing endgame, take off viking helmet (Having Matt's turn can be a lifesaver), upgrade Whitemage's Dress, use dark/death resistance (Shadow Blaster, Rune Blade, Pope Hat, Sentinel, etc.), and make use of Akron's elemental weakness, especially if it's poison - good luck!
