Man it is funny to see the game that got me in to kongregate updated just out of the blue. Well maby you did it in anticipation of ebf 5 But still to see a developer actually update his work so many years after it was released just brings joy to my heart. I can't wait for ebf 5 which I will be buying on steam. Keep being an awesome developer!

Well, beat the game countless times yet Kong refuses to give me the badge, not sure what the issue is. Major bummer though.

monoliths are annoying but easy to beat with air strike and other bomb types but if its epic make sure you got high accuracy,evadeand defence and also you need to upgrade the wepon of the attacks of those monoliths i wish theres an crystal monolith on ebf4 its gonna be fun i defeated the monoliths with airstrike ps i like ur games matt/ kupo707

This game is wonderful!!! I love it! Without a doubt this is the best turn based strategy game ever, and the best part is that it is free! 5/5

@ ninja eel- They do have a way to switch attack order go to tactics in the battle phase and do switch order it'll be 2 arrows going in a circle, you then pick who you want to go and you don't lose the other players turn either

this game should be the best game ever made on earth......epic battle fantasy 1 & 2 werenot good but this one is epic it's awesome..i loved it so much and i cant stop playing..i am so excited to play epic battle fantasy 4 i hope it will be on kongregate soon

@archerbob: It's been a long time since I played this game, but the 3 headed dragon can be beaten. Just make sure all your equipment is maxed out and be prepared for a grind as it takes a long time to beat him.

dang 3 days in a row with Botd, this game has always been good just that it will turn most modern rpg players away even it's pretty fun, i do get tired of playing it.

I hate the rock...it freezes all my party, and then hits repeatedly because they don't thaw out!! I do love this game though XD 5/5

This is the only game I have seen with a comment with 10K+ on it. and the others are over 9000. This proves how many people play it and how many people love this game.

OMG I love all Epic Battle Fantasy series! Even Played EBF 3.5 bullet heaven(though it's like touhou) I just wish I could Play EBF 4 here in Kongregate.

I sincerely believe that the only thing stopping this from getting 5/5 stars overall is noobs rating 1 star just because they can't wait for it to load, they are stuck on a boss, want to be "different", or just think its some anime FF rip-off. It is an incredible flash game, and by denying that you just look like an idiot.

I just realized how good this game is. I haven't found a single peeve I find in any RPG I play yet. The creator must be credited with money for this.

Would be nice to have a symbol on the quest page to let you know when you have the items necessary. Maybe have an area where you can re-fight bosses, or have them spawn near their old location (off path)? Another cool thing would be to tell the number of chest opened/left in each area. That's all, please + so kupo sees it.

A tip to make the last minigame easier for anyone that is battling - Stay at the back of the screen, 90% of the stuff that is falling will miss you. For the most part you only have to move up and down to collect coins and dodge the stationary rocks at the top and bottom. Some of the falling stuff will still be able to get you if you go too far to the bottom. Sometimes this results in bad luck an losing out on the medal. Anyways 3rd attempt and 178 coins. I reckon with a bit of luck I should get the 190 in the next few attempts :)
