This game good at the start, then it gets annoying.
After EVERY. SINGLE. MATCH. THAT. I. WIN in deduct $5000+, so the money I had/made? Bye-bye!

when i'm forced to continue to do the monthly tournament battles and i lose every time, why don't you match me up with lesser opponents? I need to win in order to gain enough money to recruit more soldiers. I have looked through a number of comments and this game seems to keep digging you deeper into holes.

@tkd hiring units and leveling them increases their monthly cost. The special units also cost a lot more then normal ones and cost a lot more when leveled up.

I can't seem to get any money. I won a tournament and have been able to challenge the king for months now. But every single time, I have a net loss of some absurd $8000 or something and I just can't seem to get enough money to conquer the rest of the cities or anything! What exactly causes the "expenses" that lose you $8000 more than you earn in a given month?

@DeceasedDemon: Do you rule enough territory? If you don't, then your soldiers wages will take you negative even if you keep doing winning quest battles.

I have no clue why, but I bought NOTHING, and have been winning battles and quests, yet I have been put from $100 to $-5000 in the past 5 minutes.

I'm that person who takes the time to *attempt* to max out everything even though I gained the ability to challenge the king like 2 (in-game) years ago.

Don't click incorrectly, or the money and time you've spent recruiting is wasted. Why is it si hard to make selections? Everything has to be confirmed to death with no indication of where to click... AAGH!

All shall know my might and weep for death has come for this land and this naught they can do to stop it.... just as soon as I finished this quest oh and the training and wasn't that new guy in forest or the mountains, what was I doing again something about a king oh well.

The recruiting system is pretty harsh. It's expensive just to search and there's no guarantee I can afford anyone when it's done AND there's no window of time to go back and hire anyone after I get some money without paying the search fee again. Having to pay just to see each time is painful.
