I have a new belt that weighs 167kg. The density of leather ranges from 0.7 to 0.9 grams per cubic centimeter. That means my belt has a volume of 185556 to 238571 cubic centimeters. Assuming the belt is 1cm wide and 5cm tall (Pretty damn thick belt.), that means the belt is 37111 to 47714 cm in length, or 371 to 477 meters. So some guy out there has a waistline of 371 to 477 m. If he's that fat, I assume that he's spherical in shape. If so, he is 59 to 76 m tall with a volume of 860 to 1838 km cubed. The average human has a density of 1010kg/m cubed, so this guy weighs 851 to 1820 kg. An adult black rhino weighs 850 to 1600kg. Are you telling me that rhinos wear belts?

Fun game, but upgrades are way to costly, and there is no point in making a ship-like manoeuvring system if you're going to left enemy ships shoot through each other to get to you. 4/5

Personally, I think to make this game better, you should implement enemy fire among the enemies.
i.e. Pirates hurt navy and merchants and vice versa.

eh. kinda slow, take forever to get around, get money, not to mention you die pretty quickly... And yes i know you can upgrade and do quests but it all takes so loooooong. 3/5, music not too bad, idea pretty good.

Wow 11 thumbs up on "you should be able to end the day instead of just sailing around". Try clicking the pause icon and then End Day.

Could you allow it so that you could spar with a pirate captain while your crew fought their crew? Sorry but I've been playing too much Sid Meier's Pirates.

great game needs achievements and why are the items costly? i save up to buy like 3 wpns and walk away with 1 and a half

Actually, treasure hunting isn't all that random if you know how to approach it. If you just dig at opposite corners, then there should be no more than two squares which satisfy both hints, thus bringing up the odds to at least 50%.

One one you should improve (aside from the treasure hunting): When you drive into the vortex the angle at which you do that determines how you get out of it - the problem with that is that you die when you touch the edges. Otherwise really fun.

Yea so the treasure hunting is definitely messed up. Purely luck based from how its set up. If that was changed i might give this 5/5 but as is its 4/5

Also, a little tip for the treasure hunting challenges - it seems that the golden chest is usually hidden underneath a pile of bones, so use that to narrow down your choice of possible squares.

played this about a week before it was added to Kongregate on Armor Games website. Nevertheless it is a good game and thoroughly enjoyable :)

Great game, I can't get enough of upgrade games so I'm definitely in this for the long haul.
The one thing I would say is that everything you can upgrade is too expensive, making it feel like you're putting in a lot of effort for not that great of a pay off. It would be nice to have some varied pricing, instead of everything costing the same.
Other than that, great game!

Very good game, but the only complaint I have is that during treasure hunt diagonal counts as 1 while vertical and horizontal also count as 1. This makes searching for a gold chest more a luck based deal than strategic thinking. Other than that some people may ask for an option to sail backwards, but I think it is more realistic when you can't like the real deal. 4/5 mate

also I think that the damage done to the boss should remain even after death, so if you already destroyed one of the fishy things in the corners it shouldn't come back after death

wow, that is a fun game, the only thing I think is not so good is the treasurehunting. First it shouldn't count a diagonal step as 1 step, but as 2 steps, otherwise it is too hard to figure out where the chest is with just 3 digs.
Or make the treasure thingy a bit more lika a regular minigame
