I had fun once I had money to upgrade my stuff, but it took a VERY long time to get to that point. The "strategy" to win never varies and is a bit confusing to master. Also, I know it sounds petty but I removed a star for not having a volume control on the title screen. My husband works late and whenever I see a game that has a loud, blaring title music and no mute it really bugs me.

This game gets 1/5 because there is not nearly enough explanation of what things are and how they work, which is essential in a game that involves a lot of luck.

Trick for the chests : the distances for diagonals is also 1. Basically that means that there is an "square perimeter" of possibilities. I usually put second dig on a diagonal of the first dig : you then will have only 2 suspect spots remaining (where the 2 squares meet). 50% chances to get it right (compared to other methods).

bug found, it says eliminate the marked ship, but there is no ship, only the mark; also, game is too slow, things are expensive, 1/5

Great game, but some things needs polishing - would make more sense if other ships could not fire through each other, i.e. friendly fire turn on. Then marketplace is interesting, but i can't choose when to go back to marketplace (or i missed it). It doesnt make sense to keep goods in the cargo if price is low in marketplace, cause there won't be enough space in cargo anyway on my next FULL day. Also, losing your ship is the same as ending a day - so there is simply no reason why I would want to dodge enemy bullets - no big difference, will continue on the next day :)
Fun game, graphics are cool, but these minor things show that game needs polishing. Anyways, good job guys.

This game sucks, because whenever I get close to getting that last eye piece, I GET A TON OF LAG and they kill me before I can even get close.

So i find a new jewel; weight 86 kg, lets see....ok i'll sell it for 89$. Could you guys inform me where you buy your jewellery? I think the missus would like a diamant from that shop....

The treasure system could do with a tweak: all he loot weighs at least 10x what it should do. And we need more than clicks on those maps (but mayb make them larger)

"Among all of the treasure, there are one that is very special, the Neptune's Eye" surely everyone else sees how that doesn't make sense.."there are one".

► ► ► Wait, so, why don't I just fill up my Cargo bay, then just manually end the day? When I do that I always sell the maximum loot AND I repair AND I get a new set of random quests? Seems like the loot system is easy to exploit.

This game takes WAY too long to get interesting.
Prevously said: No friendly fire, No rivalry, No fleets.
Decent graphics and interesting game features but not enough to draw away from the difficulty and mundanity.

My only complaint about this game is the loot system. Did you guys actually think about how much stuff weighs when you were assigning values? A brooch is a type of jewelry you might pin on your dress. It wouldn't weigh 56 kg. That's the equivalent of 123 pounds. That's insane! And all of the loot is like that. Scale it down or something. Makes no sense.

Oh yeah. And as usual, follow the "Like Us" links for 400$ a piece (4 of them). You can close the window/tab before it loads and it still gives you the money. Free early upgrades are good.

Another tip: For the Treasure Hunting, you can get better odds by starting in one of the corner squares. The numbers can count diagonally, so 3 can be 3 diagonal, or 2 diagonal and 1 straight. The only worry is that you only have 3 clicks, so corner, far diagonal point, then deduce from there, but it's not 100% accurate this way, as you can have 1-3 overlapping squares that fit this bill.

Protips: you can collect loot with your cursor. The 4 boss tentacles can't be disabled with pirates. The amount of damage you need to soak for the kraken is way too high from the first time you get to it. Normal Cannons are the most useful, beyond pirates for swarms of ships and the ram for travel.

There really should be a way to see instructions in-game. I started playing again after not having played for awhile, and I had no idea what I was doing. Furthermore, I could not go to the menu and open instructions. In quests, if I look away for a moment, I miss the instructions in the mini-games. The mini-games themselves are not intuitive, and again, I cannot just click or hover for a how-to. Once in the bounty screen, it is unclear what I am supposed to do. While I try to figure it out, the day ends. Instructions would make all the difference. I dislike having to go to another website in order to relearn how to play a game without completely restarting, especially in a game with somewhat frustrating controls. I like the concept though, and I can respect how much work must have gone into creating this game.

I was having fun with this game but I feel it gets boring quickly. The controls are not that great, I feel I don't have much control. And the speed of the ship is too darn SLOW! Speed is therefore the first thing I upgraded and I really didn't notice like any difference at all even after two upgrades…. meaning the upgrades didn't do much. I like the concept (I tend to enjoy upgrade games) but I feel it was implemented kind of poorly. 3/5
