This game is essentially putting you in the position of somone commanding the planes. Still, its not very good at that. The epic war games are somthing that could be used as a model/insperation for a better game. Nice idea though.

my biggest issue is the lack of upgrades, that's really it, id like to field more units, but i have to wait for the unit to recharge so i can send out another unit, if not for that, id slaughter cuz i field have some much money ^^

@brainisdead: In UniSoviet you have the laser. Use just nemesis planes to defend with the laser and build up funds, while attacking their laser with airstrikes. When you got a couple of k's and have their laser blown to bits launch an attack. Tactic works on all later levels btw.

In survival mode: The enemy always gets first strike cause friendlies just circle until they're attacked. Really annoying.

shield is not only utterly shit but totally pointless if it only lasts for 5 seconds, its also a waste of money. also in survival there is no way you'll last beyond wave 6 as your fighters fly in a pattern where the enemy is always easily able to attack them every time

uni soviet is IMPOSSIBLE to beat as wgen you hit their crystal they recharge it up again (which you cant do), plus they have better planes & weapons & rebuild MILES faster than you can. so it'll be impossible to beat. i just played it for over 30 mins getting absolutely nowhere.

Game is about countering enemy. You should have picked a title that made this clear. People expected to see a side-scrolling rts/shooter and will rate it down for not getting their expectation met. Aside from that, It's a beautiful game and the different units all have their characteristics you should be aware of and use their ability to the maximum to win maps. Doesn't need upgrades for campaign and the money hunting is fine. Just fix the title (perhaps add a subtitle). My rating: 3.8/5.

It's OK but not really that good as it should be. Needs upgrade to make it worth playing earlier levels again. even if to just speed up the reload time as at later stages of a level you hve loads of spare cash but not wnough stuff to spend it on so you jut end up spamming everything.

Here and now, game is one of many. But aerial combat just have this... thing inside. I like it. But good game it's not only nice graphic, music etc. It's gameplay. And gameplay misses here a lot. It's suppose to be strategy game, so I expected, I don't know... ability of making tactical decisions. I like that feeling when I outsmart the opponent, and here I've only found "who click faster and in right time".
I'd like to see a sequel though. With upgrades this time. Without that $ hunting. Thad could be swapped to a manual controlled short range defensive cannons for example. It could be nice also to set own aircrafts AI. You know, defensive, evasive, aggressive sort of thing... Maybe some rock, paper, scisors rules applied to aircraft. Specialised interceptors, fighter-bombers etc.

aww... I realy hoped for a nice old style arcade shooter when I saw the icon and the first sentence in the "new games" section... but it's yet another one of "those" games... and a boring one too... No cannons I can control? No tactical options?

Good artwork... Aside from the fact that there are way to many of basically this identical game with different art and story line, you are running into the problem that the need to collect money with the mouse does not work with the longer than screen map and slow scroll rate. Al

ok siriously thogh when you kill the enemy base and the white flash flashes, if you pick up money right before the flash you can see the money go to your collection of money, but it is supposed 2 be like a flash bomb so you shouldnt see the money, also it needs bosses. i was impressed with the idea of the game and how you chose the contries as levels. Keep up the good ideas, 4/5

A definite improvement over some recent games of the same type. I agree with others that upgrades and some kind of choice over aggression/evasion would be great. 4/5

Why don't the turrets get shut down by EMP? Isn't the turret shooting energy? If it isn't, then what is hitting my guys out there? Some kind of purple goo?

Played this game almost all the way through - the later levels took me absolutely ages - more control of your planes (as suggested by a previous poster) could make this a 5/5, for now 4/5

Set some autobuilds, auto-collect the money, and voila! a movie. What's fun is shooting the aliens, why am I in charge of collecting and spending the money? If you made a rock band game you'd make the player the band's... accountant. Blech!

Man, flying those planes looks like fun. Shame all I get to do is mouseover $ and click for new units whenever they cool down. Would be a good game if I could control units advancing, retreating, aggression (do they try to get the most shots off or try to evade enemy shots), etc. And if I could set units to autobuild whenever they cooldown. See Epic War for a series that automates the boring stuff and gives the player some control of the tactics.

I enjoyed the game, but I really wish there was a way to order planes to retreat or advance or, at a minimum, to hold planes in reserve to let them all go at once.

Collecting cash makes this a swirly mouse fest really. Interesting idea but the game play is kinda flat in that spam cheap planes til you get a decent amount of cash to add the more expensive. The overall finish of the game is really nice though and the music is fitting. 3.5/5 here
