Getting negative points in a challenge doesn't give you progress to the badge! It's not enough to just survive you have to actually be positive on the map.

Pretty poorly optimized. Game slows to a crawl once the zombies attack and you're left struggling to get it to recognize which buttons you're pressing and where.

5/5 and favorited, especially b/c I'm an environmentalist myself. Love the game, hoping for a sequel/expanded version/whatever. My only recommendation is that before a garbage truck heads somewhere to pick up trash, it should check if there is another garbage truck headed to the same location - I would often have 20 garbage trucks, but it wouldn't matter b/c they were all headed to the same place. If there is a truck headed to the same location, have the truck go somewhere else. Besides that minor annoyance, this game was one of the most fun games I have ever played, with a fine plot, a great message and solid gameplay to boot.

I'm a bit disappointed that there is no proper save,especially in campaign, since upgrades carry over from level to level. Otherwise, very well done. And +10 for the Music! "Then the zombies sang a catchy song [...] As we fried them with our flame turrets..."

@freewig Hold space to do that ^^ it was mentioned in the tutorial. @storm289 you don't need that much actually, I only used oil for the trucks, most of my energy was geothermal, and defences were machineguns.

i really miss icecream, cold beer and mountain dew, i also miss road trips, and central air was nice too, now the charred-lanscape's all around, and zombies stole our cars, they've got a taste for nucular waste and they ate my best friend larz... XD tis so funny to me

that well... who will save me from this living hell wich nature's wrath has made? so we cranked our floodlights to the max while zombies dined on garbage sack's i really hope well come toto grips... with the super energy apocalypse. flourescent bulbs save energy if you don't mind the mercury we recycle all of our debris to stem the tide of the decay
we built our windows facing north to save us from the xenomorph our engineers all venture forth that we might live another day then the zombies sang a catchie song it went : trash, trash, trash, trash yum yum yum then we fried them with our flame turrets in the super energy apocalypse ... the End

The concept is great an very well integarted into the gameplay. But the campagn is underdeveloped and the levels go too fast. It would have been great if the waves were at longer times so one can properly develop and fight. Thus 4 stars from me. This is more a strategy game then tower defence. The concept coud be extended beyond limits in a eventual sequell.

Ideas for sequel: Water, still and flowing, to drink and farm. Water Treatment Plant gets water, uses more energy per pollution. Hydroelectric Plant gets energy but reduces water flow. Rain replenishes bodies of water but turns smog into water pollution. Acid rain. Electrolysis Station uses energy to turn water into pure oxygen (dilutes smog) and hydrogen fuel (good for flame turrets, worse than electric vehicles). Enrichment Station, uses Nuclear Waste to turn Hydrogen into Deuterium for Fusion Plants. Antimatter Plant, uses energy to destroy unrecyclable junk.

This is an amazing game with several fatal flaws:
The logic on Garbage pickup needs help (so you don't get 100 trucks responding to a summon for 7.5 garbage) and to improve routing generally. It wouldn't hurt to enable them to pick up garbage from multiple locations on one run.
Also, energy management is choppy, perhaps add in another digit or make batteries (I produce a surplus of >2000 energy, but my tesla coils only operate for the first 10 sec after nightfall (they run continuously after the next boost though).

For last challange: key is smog reduction, so build atom for energy, 3x should be enough, also mine as much metal and gas as u can. Defend with gun and flame, but build them only when u see where the mobs are going. After first day its not challenging anymore :)

To easy, even on hard mode. Just have to know how to fortify, good turrets, and realize that labs are very important.
