That would be nice if they told you where to go next, because I was woundering around the world for 2 hours to find the right way.

Make the important items like Blood Oceanus and like Imp branch or like items used to make stuff in the forges into key items
that cant be thrown or sold

If you need some leveling to help before the final boss go into The Forgotten Forge on the map under the "DS" in "The Molten Fields". If you go in with the warrior skills equiped you can make your way to the forge area at the bottom of the map and gather most of the level 20ish and do a spin, shield bash, and some thrusting and kill most of them, leave through the "door" you came through and come back to do it again. Especially good if you switched pets for some reason late and need to level them.

Morning Star is acquired late in the game weighs 12 with 28 attack and 3 magic. Razor Blade can be acquired early weighs 15 with 28 attack and 3 defense. So to do so make sure and collect iron ore for those little "piles" you see around. Craft 3 iron ore with 3 iron ore then craft a alkahest with 3 iron ignots. You need 5 iron globes to craft with the cute little wooden sword from the weapon shop Astraea's Bastion. I wouldn't snub my nose at using a Dartanian either it is a quick little sword if you don't need the excess power at any given time.

Castaway 1 had issues and many have been made better in Castaway 2, but... Having items that can be missed that lock off the entire end of the game. Having the new autosave function while it is possible to have pet blood viles lay on the map exit while the blood also is lost on map exit. Mixing mouse and keyboard in actions that need fast responses. Some items should be auto-collected or given and then be protected in your innovatory mainly pet blood and gate opening items. How about a dialog that resists leaving an area while those things haven't been collected? Either the game needs to be played without autosave, but with the ability to save manually at any time or some of this needs fixing. You shouldn't have to go into a fight knowing what you are supposed to find for later to be sure you have everything just to keep from restarting.

I can't believe the nerve of that Loomi I have as a pet! The nerve to finish her kill(s) and come and help me with mine.

@AlexUnknown Actually, cooking meat for eating is not really necessary. Many people eat raw meat just like vegetables and other stuff. But a factor you could consider is about the berries being poisonous to humans, well, such is not specified in the game, so, you know, eat them already!

@SummerBlank In real life, there are several types of berries animals eat that are inedible to humans. We don't digest some things very well; it's why we have to cook meat.

@aztecboy You can buy a stick from the weapons shop. Where they sell weapons. Like the stick you were using. As a weapon.

this doesn't load on my computer :l but... my computer is really old, but I WAS able to play this on a different site before.... and the TD castaway doesn't work ether.

I think that the player should be able to eat the berries as well, I mean, its the wild man! You are surviving out there! Ignore the taste and keep up!

This game was fun, and easy to complete ( I looked at the completed version of the map which told me the places to find stuff :D and how to craft)

@gonard3 Actually I think the Razor Sword is better to get. For one it's way easier, you only need a wooden sword and 5 iron globes to make it and you don't need a forge, it's the same power and gives defense which is probably better for a warrior than the magic attack.

I'm enjoying myself with this game. The art (though occasionally elements don't load quite right, that's more a superficial comment) and music are quite good. Yet, I've been encountering this bug occasionally where the game freezes after crafting something. It's an annoyance, to which I'm very grateful for the autosave feature. It makes such issues a lot less nerve-wracking. Thanks for making this game.
