WTH my dead pet is now blocking my only exit out of this 1sq area and i cant go anywhere? theres also a loot on it which i cant take? WTHHH LAME QUIT

More tips to make your pet alive: (2) Which pet to choose? The initial Eye guy is a weak pet; I changed to a scorpion for the Jungle zone (a hard zone since all enemies are aggressive and trees block your vision, I needed to reload lots of times due to the eye guy being killed), and then to a frost scorpion after the Glacier was opened (has way more HP and it is able to freeze the enemies).
(3) Another trick: put a few blue beetle eggs in the hatchery so you can choose the beetle and allow it to be killed while your favorite pet stay alive in the hatchery. Do it if you need to fulfill a mission in a dangerous zone (as the Jungle) and your pet is weak.
(4) In the initial levels (until Jungle), if you are short on berries go to the Beach and kill the blue beetles, they drop many berries and will not attack unless you attack them.
(5) After you get Sneak, set your pet to stay at a hard map and walk alone until the entry for the next map so the enemies will not see you.

You should give us pet equipment! It would be really cool if i could give my pets armor so they wouldnt die so easily, there are monsters that only do two damage to me that do thirty to my pets

OMG HELP. We have lived on this island for so long and just now noticed the beetles. They are attacking the village but until you attack them they won't do anything... lol

K, so I can click on an item to walk to it, double click an enemy to walk to it but can't click on a map tile to walk to it. Why must I use the cursor keys to move the character when there is obviously pathfinding?

This game is in desperate need of a bigger inventory (14 slots is a joke, like other said), and shortcuts, I can't keep count of how many times my pet dies because it get a hit by surprise, and before I can get to open the inventory, select the fruit, and click on use, gets a second and killing hit. Quite annoying.

I hate it when I'm fighting a generally weak monster and then a hostile monster comes along and attacks my ally monster. I target the hostile monster but end up walking ALL THE WAY AROUND a bunch of obstacles. Half way to my destination I realize my monster is losing the fight so i recall it, only to have it walk in a circle around the enemy. By the time i get to the enemy my snake, Pyrope, rest in peace, has lost the battle. It's not that bad until i realize it was an hour since I saved :|

ive found a solution for every complaint in the game 1. to little inventory:waste a couple herbs or pet healing items as well as keep a castawy feather on hand so you can teloport back and sell stuff. 2. pet dies to quickly: keep some berries gold and at least one castaway feather on hand at all times when in high level areas or just just go to first generator (or second but thats less efficient for lower level people) and just keep bashing the monsters to get your pet xp 3.:well its for everything else i havent mentioned : castaway 2

Small inventory is annoying. Pets start at too low a level. They do almost no damage until they level up. The most annoying thing is the drop rate. Should definitely be boosted. And the elemental shards should be limited to one or two types per zone. I beat the game without getting enough ice shards for the sword.

ATTENTION people looking toward hard badge: If you really want it this isn't even hard but it takes forever. Ive played the game for more than 20 hours by now and its not worth it. To give yo a hint im level 31 and i need 24035 exp to rank up again. And level 31 doesnt works against my current enemies I need at least 37. I only won the hard badge cuz I did my way to the last generator spennding 13k on healing so then I telerported back once I reached with the feather.

Why doesn't your pet-critter auto-heal for idling? That's just silly. Also, I can't echo enough on how poor some of these design choices were. This game has great potential and I hope you reach it in the sequel.

If you submitted this to a game company, you could probably have this made for the Nintendo DS system since it has a touch screen. I'd buy it.

Suggestion: Bigger inventory slots, monsters drop HP potion or higher regeneration rate, inn free of charge, pets lv up need exp should less than the main character

Damnit, I just lost my pet because it picked a fight with a sand snake in an awkward place that meant I had to walk around half the island to help him. If my pet isn't fighting, I can walk through his square. Why can't I do that when he is fighting?

the egg hatch time follows ur computer time so if u want to fast hatch ur egg adjust the time.+ this so everyone can see

The eggs timers go off your system clock. So if you want to hatch them instantly change your computers time up how ever much is needed to hatch the egg.

TIP: You can "auto" attack faster if you have 2 or more monsters on you. Keep switching your "auto" attacks from 1 monster to the other. This way your char will keep attacking without you having to wait.

i love the game only problem is the pets i mean u can only have 3 but have 4 eggs . i want more room for pets so i can collect lets say 5-10.

Once you are level 12, save up to 2k gold and get the fortune medallion. It'll double the gold enemies drop,so you can buy better stuff sooner. Great tip.+ if you agree

This game is really grindy. Like, "did you bother playtesting it with the debug settings off?" kind of grindy. When you have to grind for 15 minutes on one screen just to not get reduced to salsa on the next screen, it's too grindy.

Turns out I've not been retaining any save games across Kong (other than those stored on a game server) since the last Flash update - it set my local storage to zero. I had to make a backup, change to unlimited storage, then restore.
Sadly that doesn't fix the fact that replaying even a fraction of this game will be a major pain.
