I played the game quite a while 3 years ago (when I got the badges ;) ). Unfortunately it so that broken now, that I have to downrate it to 1 star - unplayable. Too bad, it was a pretty good game!

This game is garbage. I can't give this more than 2 stars and that is being nice. With the in-training items not working, and this game being published in 2011... there is no hope. It also suffers from many bugs that literally freeze the game and force you to refresh the page. If this did not have a daily achievement, I would have put it down in 2 minutes.

To get hard using Redzilla: Power - 500 (Could be lower) Defense - 325 Agility - 327 Just use the 1 delay attack, and eventually you'll kill him.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa ... "You set a high score in Monster Arena 725,308 Max Damage". Going the balanced type (unicorn), using the 3 energy ability that usually deals 700 after using the in-battle items Stardust and Oak of Zeus (x15 only one item, x100 two). This game needs full rethinking anyway. You just get to watch a butt moving up and down while waiting for energy to recharge (which he anyway spends 3E for 10 damage when I have 200 hp), so that I can in about 2 minutes hope to bring down his 1.2k hp. I like the idea of the minigames to increase your stats, but RockScissorsPaper is too random and power challenge is too non interactive. And many more game design problems. Besides the bugs that other people already mentioned, I'd point out that -attack debuffs you apply to your opponents stack and last the whole round (contrary to what the status displays). gl on your hard badge, people.

Dodging seems grossly out of proportion. Enemies seem to dodge 1/3 to 1/2 of my hits, while I dodge once every maybe 6 hits. And my agility is three times theirs.

It glitched me at zero health. I can now do nothing. Thankfully, I got the BotD. Now, I can leave. And never come back.

The art is impressive for a flash game but the game play has some problems. The two problems I had were the items being unusable, and the game froze when I was doing intelligence training.

Train intelligence does work, however the practice doesn't work and you have to wait until a round is finished and cleared before you make your next selection. Training items is very annoying though.

For all mini games, you must mouse click on the game screen before any keyboard inputs will register. For the int mini game, start by selecting from the choices on the top left side, and then work to the bottom left row. Items don't work, so use the pet mode to anger over to the red side (far right) to improve training (use the left 2 red icons to raise anger - 1 & 2 point choices). Also, don't bother to fight other trainers (! icon) once you have some levels on your monster - the characters don't get any stronger. The skip week feature is useless. Stay in the bronze league to win all trophies, and then work up exp and training for the harder cup levels. (+ if this helps)

To get int mini game to work, start by picking from top of the left side. Then work your way to the bottom. The item feature is completely broken.

The game as everyone else said, Its broken in so many ways. and since it was put on here 5 years ago, I doubt fixes will come

This game sucks so hard, it's just a broken mess. It looks terrible, the intelligence minigame doesn't work, you can't you items, and your opponents are always the same, they never get harder.
Not to mention that the championship is impossible, as killing the enemy just leads to them having negative hp and not allowing you to end the battle.
The badge of the day is possible, but this is amazingly bad, to think that some people liked it...

For those looking to get the BotD, note that the "monster battle" option in training doesn't seem to count towards the badge. Only the random events and championships count.

It finally worked long enough to get the badge. I wish Kongregate would stop giving badge of the day to broken, abandoned games.

quite many things to fix :) Got to fight plant with -28 health points. Also several laser beams and most enemies do not deal any significant damage at least in bronze cups...

The game has a massive memory leak, hangs in the "intelligence training" which doesn't have anything to do with intelligence, and doesn't accept keyboard input well during the "defense training". During the last hang-free session the game allocated over 800Mb of RAM and slowed to a crawl during the agility training forcing me to close the game out so the memory would be released. At least the lagg didn't happen as fast as Strike Force Kitty, but it still got there. In the future, can you ensure your programs are releasing memory instead of letting the program allocate memory and eating all the memory the computer has until the computer itself just crashes?

I can't drop any of the berries I SHOULD be able to feed my pet. I know this is old, but please fix? It's such a great game otherwise than these glitches.

Don't know if you still pay attention to this game, but the train intelligence mini game seems to be broken. Stops working after the first round.
