Never seen a racing game before that wants you to try to lose the race. Racing aspect seems cool (off road, super sprint), but the game doesn't want you to race, it wants you to collect thing off track and slow yourself down with drifting.

its one of those weeks they pick these lame games that are not fun to play -- this is the third medium badge ive had to go for - and they always pick these weeks when im travelling grrr

annother lame badge of the day. even if spend the whole race drifting, i dont come anywhere close to the badge. and since there isnt enough time a race to just drift and not worry about the finish line...

As noted by Iconian, the steering upgrade is useless. If it were actually functional, this game would be entertaining, but as it is, sliding around hoping to achieve the level goals is lackluster. Could be a great game though.

adding to Iconian comment, on the first 2 tracks, take your time, collect every coin. you get to keep the cash after the round even if you run out of time. the coins do not respawn, however there are enough coins on the first 2 tracks to max out your acceleration and speed. after that, no need to worry about upgrades!

I don't know what the number is in the upper-left corner, but it Shirley isn't drift! There's always tomorrow's badge... (except on Sundays!)

After quite a bit of testing, I've found the lightness and steering upgrades to be useless. The car needs better handling/grip/traction, but lightness and steering both make it worse. It's like trying to steer a car on ice. The steering upgrade ought to make it better, but I tested it, and instead it makes it worse. I got to the sixth track, having fully upgraded the car much earlier, and after about six or seven tries I still couldn't beat the challenge for winning in 99 seconds--I was repeatedly off by a second or three. So I just started over a few times with different upgrades to see their effects. Turns out that with acceleration and speed maxed and nothing in the other two, I was able to beat the 6th track in 94 seconds the first time I tried, and in 92 the second. So, don't put any money into steering or lightness, and the game should be quite easy.

why isn't there a way to tell if iv'e passed any goals during the race?? I'd like to know when to abort and start over in case i'm unable to meet any goals.

I am amused that most of the goals in the game revolve around being as reckless as can be. I think the hardest issue is being able to hit the exact number of barricades before anyone else and still make it past the finish line before the clock runs out. It also doesn't help that the upgrades actually cause more problems from what you started with initially. Overall, I'd say it is still a fun little game to play.

Some advice for the "not hitting any object" challenges, try not to drift. Instead of holding the arrow key, just tap it a few times to turn normally. Also try to go behind other cars and let them hit the objects. Hope it helps and + so everyone can see!

+ for some good fun, cool tracks and challenging missions.
- for upgrade system, race details unavailable during run.
Huge - for drifting actually being against racing and the inability to chain drifts.
At least it's got badges!

I wish nascar was like this so that after x amount of time passed they just called the race and put something worth watching on tv
