"Instant death to anything it touches." LIAR! It doesn't even do more than a 1/12 to the installations! What the heck are you talking about, instant death? Now I might be screwed because the recharge on it makes the weapon suck, and I wasted all that money on it! man....

The idea for the game is really good, but the controls are terrible and can't be changed; it completely ruined the game for me.

My irk with this game is the weapon change system - finding Q or E on the keyboard takes looking down at the keyboard and by that time you're already being swarmed, which is a massive flaw. Using the scroll wheel the change weapon just moves the webpage down so that's not usable either. Definitely needs refinement!

Why cant I upgrade my magnets?? At least give me a chance to collect money.. And no replaying levels either, so if you only get 1 cash per level then you never get to level up.. 1/5, I don't know how theres an average rating of 3.89

If can't replay levels for cash, and you have to pick it up while avoiding hordes of enemies swarming at you, a little magnetism feature wouldn't have hurt anybody...

/Pay boredom for badges./ should be the motto of this game o_O. Sad thing is it shows that it has the, so to say, engine; and a load of weapons designed, yet it lacks any ardor! Fails of design manifest both in the non-replayability of the levels for the length of all 60 levels, and in menu design. The pause menu has continue a second 'option,' i dunno if 'quit' even prompts, moreover flaw I find in the main menu which happens inbetweenst each of the boring levels. Small buttons.. In a 15 x 4 rectangle, each denoting a level of boredom to get the most badge, is like saying "haha, can you face this might of dull?"
Makes 2009 feel like it was 2006... Oh wait, the flash games were hellishly skill-intensife back then. ,)

One of the worst games I've played on Kong. The fact that we can't keep the money we've gotten after getting killed just makes this game tedious, boring, and awful 0/5 if I could

The weapons are crap and underpowered and collecting cash is a pain in the ass. Problem is, this game had potential, but fails.

Honestly, reading the Hints/Tips available in game helps (it pops up in a new window) But other than the 3 spread weapon early on, I found the Lazer Lock and 4 Homing Missiles to be the easiest to use. No need to aim so you can focus on dodging bullets/enemies. And don't always go for the money. If it's clear get it, if not, just keep dodging enemies. It goes against what most people are used to doing but if you're playing for the achievement you have to break that habit.

It'd be nice if the player's HP bar was more visible (either larger above the player or as a part of the bottom display).

why isn't there a money magnet? I really annoying trying to grab money when you have to be pixel perfect to pick it up

Brief walkthrough: Buy arc spread, spiraller, save for energy homers, save for BFG. Once you have BFG, you can stand in one corner, fire at the other corner, and walk inside the projectile. Nothing except bullets can touch you and you're off cooldown by the time you reach the other corner. Buy lightning, which clears the entire screen if you blow all your ammo. BFG + lightning can clear any nonboss level. Then buy laser lock and the final weapon. On bosses, use laser lock + energy homers + your final weapon. If you want, buy shortshield (massive damage to turrets/spawners) and slow time (if you have trouble dodging). + if this helped.

Stopped after the first level when I realized I couldn't replay it and there was not an attractor item for the money. Not worth the play past the first level.

I enjoy the game design, etc.... but I can't replay levels for cash? And then after finally surviving the harder level.... I get no cash since I was too busy running????? Ugh..... only doing this for the badge.........

So I get the idea you were trying to have with this game, a hard bullet hell kind of game. The issue is, gamers play games to get a sense of achievement. There is almost no sense of achievement in this game aside from the Kongregate badges. Also, you make this a bullet hell, and we have to be on the pixel to pick up money. Combine this with the fact that we can't replay levels, well we could easily be looking at a player stuck at some level because his weapons are vastly unsuited for this combat, such as those jumping guys, if you dont have enough money and only have straight line fire weapons you're screwed. Also the "bonus" round/time after you complete a mission? That's more of "Now that you beat it survive for a few more seconds and look at the money go away." Should at least make the player invulnerable for those couple seconds. And the "ultimate" 500k weapon? Weak with a long cooldown.

the lack of money magnet in this type of game is really crippling, with waves of enemies of good variety and nice controls, it's a shame such basic function is not implemented

I think its a well balanced game, thats why i rate it with 3 stars.
The only thing that stopped me from playing the game any further is the graphics. Its not that its bad bud, i just dont like this "TRON" theme.

Seriously. F*** this game! I've rarely dealt with a game that made this frustrated because of ****ty controls and this is one of them. DA F***!?!?!?

missing basic features that are standard in most modern games of the same genre. Makes it different, but there's a reason those features are considered standard. needs works.
