I hate this game. The hard badge is broken, I met the requirements earlier and never got the badge. So I just did it again, and before I could take a screenshot to report the missing achievement, the screen froze, and of course since this crap game doesn't save I lost everything. I refuse to do this again, I don't even know if a screenshot would work since there is zero way to prove which difficulty you are playing on once you start the game. I earned the hard badge twice, I want my badge.

Making you lose all your money when you die makes it impossible to progress after death? What's even the point of letting you continue if you lose your money?

From the comments I can see why I never finished this game last year even though it won't load for me today. At least I already had the badge.

What a piece of garbage. Not only is it damn near impossible to collect a decent amount of anything, it all resets if you die. Recommend a better way to collect pick-ups, a better way to dodge enemies while collecting pick-ups, a better ammo system like more of it per weapon instead of somehow using the same limited amount for everything, money per kill plus bonus per streak, a way to re-play levels or a less limited way of earning what is needed for upgrades and its not worth the time to keep going from here.

Rocket launcher/shotgun/AK-47 aren't worth your money. I haven't been able to save up enough to try the mini-gun or chainsaw yet. For now I just get the Uzi and then double Uzi upgrade and that carries me pretty far. To get a buttload of money/ammo when you fight the second boss (guy on the snowmobile) just switch to your handgun and keep jumping back and forth over him. I can usually get about $20K-$25K and 1k ammo this way.

the facts that upgrading ( at least the pistol and Eagle) don't do anything and the merciless punishments , make this a very difficult game to want to play. which also explains why I only bothered getting the easy badge 5 1/2 years ago . ... so Jeez everyone lay off the dev LongAnimals just needs a little time to fix these problems guys

The hard badge does not seem to be working. I've beaten the king three times now, on hard difficulty, and yet the badge still says 0 out of 24.

I forgot to mention, there is no bonus cash after completing a level. I played on hard and a bonus for completing a level would have helped. I was stuck repeating a level (which, by the way, I lose all my money when my penguin dies), and not having enough money to buy a better weapon because of how easy it is to die and lose all your money and how hard it is to collect money without dying. I had to resort to stalling on boss battles since they drop good every few seconds indefinitely until I kill them.
The game is alright, but it's a bit broken.

Dev, the mute function doesn't work when using the chainsaw.
When I die, I lose all my money. When I upgrade my weapons the stats stay the same. There is no story line. There is no level select. There is no option to go back to the main menu. There is no clear indication that I've completed the game.

This game is pretty punishing. If your penguin dies, you're given the option to "continue" or retry the level you're on, however, you lose ALL of your money AND your progress. I had saved up almost $20,000 in order to buy the rocket launcher until I died and lost it all. I stopped playing at this point. It's not fun anymore.

I've noticed something wrong with this game. I upgraded my pistol's damage, however, the damage stat didn't increase. It stayed at 100.

The Instructions could be updated to include that the Space Bar changes your equipped weapon. Atleast I was able to practice on the level is was stuck on.

honestly having the bullets be universal with other weapons costing more ammo per round is awful, also the desert eagle is not nearly strong enough considering how badass of a tactical sidearm it is

On Easy the final boss is way too hard, with most weapons fully upgraded I can't kill him fast enough before his crazy ice lightning kills me.

A magnet upgrade would make this game 10X better. Why have things drop in a hoard of enemies that you can't get into, to collect?
