@LordTim So...I sort of found an exploit by mistake. If you go to the character select, and then QUICKLY press an arrow key IMMEDIATELY after you press x, so that it selects an empty space, you will spawn as a locked character, and, if you clear the level with it, it will unlock as if you had shapeshifted or had your mind stolen by a Brain Sucker/Mind Flayer and cleared the level. I unlocked the Sand Scorpion and the Manticore with this exploit, both by accident. Might want to patch this.

Were it not for their lack of special movement methods (Flight, magic jump, etc.), the Knights would honestly be my favourite characters. They're very well-rounded.

Recommendation: Do NOT turn on HD graphics mode. That makes the whole game screen tipsy and you end up getting a headache.

Platinum Dragon Pistol is either too high or too low. If you are on the same 'level' as an enemy, unless it is jumping just right, or a 4 block, you will not hit it. However if you are on the block below then it will just barely hit the top edge

Also, early game tip: The necromancers are probably the best class that you get right off the bat. You get a decent summon that you can have fight all the enemies for you (a character still gets unlocked if a summon kills it for you), you get a straight-line magic attack for backup, and you can cure yourself if you screw up. Solid. It's also fun to just drop skellies onto people's heads. Though, you need something with the "flying" trait at some point, since there are places you can't reach otherwise. (Flying is much better than you'd think based on how enemies use it.)
And if you're moving up or down when you make a ranged attack, it goes at an angle. Also, magic attacks bounce off of walls and you can get enemies with the rebound. So, you can sit on top of a ledge where they can't even see you and attack downwards by jumping and making the attack before you hit the ground (or, as a flying creature, hover above them and attack while falling). Very handy, usually very safe!

@aetheriust - The purple elemental lets you use *almost* the same strategy, but better: it has an attack that turns enemies into cubes of purpleness, and it also has a somewhat weak punch attack with a short cooldown. So you can turn them into a cube, dodge the "purpleness" attacks which are now the only thing they can do (absolutely necessary or I assume you'll run into the same problem again and have to refresh--BUT, the attack is slow and has that cooldown, so it's not hard to dodge), and punch them to death. I beat all the dragons and the final boss like that without any trouble. Cheap, but funny.

I finally unlocked all the characters and realized I met the invisible man several times but ignored him thinking there was nobody there. How can I know I met him if he's invisible? I know the exact spot where all the characters from last row spawn but sometimes I did not find anybody going there, so it's very likely there was the invisible man there.

GUIDE FOR FAST GAME: Open flying character @ Play all LVL on 1,4,7 etc rows by passing them on fly @ Kill ALL dragons and boss by your favorite class (I used the ranger - 3 ranged attack without cooldown and different dmg area (long, middle, short) @ Kill bosses by spaming them from cover (ranged only)

Level 1: Pick archer and use long range shots to kill a chicken. Every other level: Use the chicken and just fly through. For dragons, walk right up and just keep hitting z. gg

was it just me or in the final boss battle did the character just stop inching forward...he either ran or stopped lol

The ultimate in quantity over quality. So many characters that the select screen looks like those Smash leak parodies, yet there's only maybe ten or twenty different moves between every character. Same with the dungeons. Excessively-large world map, only ten or twenty different actual maps. This is a 10-minute game attempted to be stretched to last an hour or more.
