@Magolar actually RotMG came first since it went into public beta in jan 2010 (11 months before this). I do agree though that it isn't stealing since the sprites are free to use.

The "bosses" (characters 4x regular) are kinda a hassle to use if they're not flying. They can get stuck easy in some levels (Ones that require you to jump a lot in wedged spaces)

Enemies need to notice you when you touch them, not just when you're in front of them. Standing inside a boss and chipping away at their health while they ignore you, while funny at first, gets boring quickly.
Additionally, the moves are completely unbalanced. Spin attack deals 9 damage (12 only if you're lucky) and takes four seconds to recharge, whereas slash deals 10 and takes under a second. To make matters worse, staff deals 16 and is recharged the moment it ends.
Projectiles (except perhaps shock and fire breath) deal damage at a much lower rate (and they can be harder to land). Summoned creatures take way too long to recharge as do status effects (which don't do much anyway).
At the moment, there's really no reason to use anything other than staff.

First off, Bird Man Tribe Leader>all. No discussion there, he's just way to fast and staff is OP in that it can just be spammed. Secondly, a great way to make this game better is to limit the levels there are once you found every possible creature in the level. I've noticed certain creatures only spawn in certain levels, so once you found them all in one, take that level out so we are needlessly wasting our time.

Please make it so that if you hold down a spell's button, it auto-casts it as quick as possible. This would make it much easier to use things like the machine gun.

I would love some kind of character creation mode where you can use the moves and character model's you have unlocked to make a personalized character.It would be a great feature to add in case you ever think of making another Dungeon in the sky.

Level 1: Pick archer and use long range shots to kill a chicken. Every other level: Use the chicken and just fly through. For dragons, walk right up and just keep hitting z. gg

This game was made first. Realm of the Mad God was released 2011-10-31, Almost a year AFTER Great Dungeon in the Sky was developed(2010-11-14). Rate up so people will stop saying these are from RotMG.

Probably the most important thing to have is flying. Of the flying characters, the Yellow Dragon is awesome. It has huge HP 80. And it has a shock attack that is powerful and recharges very quick. If you want to beat most enemies all you have to do is land inside the enemy (especially bosses) and then fire Shock at a wall. Other good flying characters are Birdman Tribe Leader, Flies, and Demon. Flies are especially quick at finishing levels. Also, the quickest way to beat the map is to move ahead in straight lines (then move down 3 spots), till you find the bosses. This will reveal the bosses is the shortest time possible.

Best Char is Birdman Tribe Leader! cause he Flies, and his staff attack deals 8x dam fast which is enough to kill anyone. He is most functional char. For me any char who cant fly is terrible, cause the "jump in blocks" levels takes some time, while u can just fly fast. Thunder and Fire dragon can be useful too, but staff still faster than shock to kill. Bahamut has a realy slow cooldown, so its not functional even though its powerfull.and Angel stab is deals 3 dmg much weaker than 8 from staff from birdman tribe leader, he RULEZ!

Use the brain sucker and control the bosses and then kill the brain sucker to get the dragons without going through the egg, baby, and teen stages of life

Hey, why don't you make attacks that have no recharge time like Rock be able to fire automatically by holding down the button? In fact, why don't you make everything autofire by holding the attack button down. So all we have to worry about is the recharge. ;D
