First boss fight was EPIC! Feeling helpless while the behemoth slowly approached while reflecting all my arrows... until he took off his helmet = 10/10.

I can't figure out how to take out the catapult in level 13. :( It has that little point on the hill in front that makes it in capable of attacking. It can sure hit me though.

Getting the medium badge is easy. Buy upgrade piercing arrow and then wait for a crowd of people to build up. I got it by killing my own troops lol

Step 1: farm all of the monies from the enemy castle
Step 2: let your soldiers grind. If you're lucky they will have gained some xp
Step 3: Kill everything that moves

Not an easy game but well made! It would be better if repeat / trajectory guide option available and ...more money for kills :)

It's been a long endeavor to finally battle to LEVEL 20, by then ya think ya got it made BUT LEVEL 19 is one to remember,...."why you ask?" Because I survived what may be a whole new definition for OVERKILL!!! I did not expect 3 of the Armored Giants at once!! One is bad enough but when 3 come at you at once & the ground is crumbling & shaking my troops all over the land. I mean I got my ass handed to me in less than 5 minutes of play. When you get to LEVEL 19 LOOK OUT! It will be fun but mad at the situation too. Expect the GIANTS on a rampage!!

Problem solved with loading game,...NOW,...kicking butt but that darn armored GIANT is a pain & can shift who is winning. Hint: Keep hitting him in the head with the red bomb after he takes off his helmet off to wipe off his sweat after he slams his hammer. Meantime U can score points plus weaken the "booger" shooting his chest when he becomes vulnerable trying to get back up after knocking his butt down with the "bomb to the head". Have gotten better at it but those birds become difficult to shoot down the more ya kill the troops!!

Been playing "Bow Prelude" for over 3 yrs now & having a problem wih game loading to the game site. (It just sits spinning in my browser tab) not knowing what to do.

Two things.
1. Seems like you don't get the "Beat the game" achievement if you use the shift + ~ cheat to get money. Make sure to start a new game if it you used it without realizing.
2. Because some levels are so long, it's often faster to just try to take the flag back to your base. So, if you think you can survive, then disable archers and priests so only flag carriers and trebuchets spawn. If you wanna get rid of trebuchets too, go ahead.

Then again if I were to receive gold/currency for each of my units that get killed in friendly fire, I would've been spamming meteors.

So many buthurt people hating on this game, just because you dont have the skill to play it , it doesn't mean its terrible . Its actually a terrific game made well and fun :) Have a nice day everyone!

@Toons Did you try refreshing the browser? After you completed the game, you should be able to see your high score on the menu screen when you click the High Scores box. Try that, and if it doesn't work, then hit 'X' let the credits roll and see if the badge is unlocked then.

Grind for coins, get arrows and men and work your way up to lvl 30. That's the basic strategy for this game, with the addition of choosing which skills that should be prioritized in the later levels.

only use foot soldiers, horse riders & trebuchet.. use ice attacks on fire anemies and fire attacks on ice enamies. get ALL of the arrow types except heal, unless you want it. beat expert like this. (auto aim optional but highly reccomended)

same here, just completed the game and then the profile was deleted and another one was created for me. just showed me a high-score and then no badge for me :'(

That being said, I don't see how it's possible to beat level 20. If anyone has any tips, please leave me a private message. I'm sick of beating my head against this.
