...I played an entire game not realizing there were multiple menus. I just kept buying dino riders and somehow staved off defeat to accrue almost 1 million exp before I was killed.

Yeah, balance is terrible, AI is WAY too overpowered and the fact THEY generate cash and you don't is seriously borked. On NORMAL mode, with full turrets, couldn't break the stalemate with non-stop super soldiers. Thank the gods the badge was easy, this game is terribly made.

Trying to win this on Impossible and I keep getting wiped in the third era because suddenly my special is no longer a field wipe.

easy and fun. be nice if i could finish it, but i literally cannot. on any computer i've played this on, it's the same story: game starts lagging on and off, usually during the era switch, and inevitably freezes or crashes, and there is no checkpoint or save feature. it's a pity since i think i've gotten to the last era (dark armour and futuristic weapons?), and the experience and music were great, but apparently Kreme de la Kong is synonymous with Crash de la Magnefique. bummer. guess i'm destined not to get this one. make these games so we can win 'em, kay guys?

Build up your base untill turrets can beat everything, only fight near your turrets and spending minimal on trash units, advance age then roflstomp with supersoldiers.

The game has a lot of tire kickers. Personally, I don't think the cave man vs. aliens strategy would work. It would also be a bad movie. Unless you liked 'Cowboys vs. Aliens.' Of course, there were aliens, plus, cave men in '2001: a space odyssey' . Only briefly, though.

to those complaining about ai units being stronger then yours.. on easy, you can literally have just cave men vs the futuristic enemies, and still defend.. turrets OP

I had 4 maxed cannons and let them come at me and saved up the money for spawning 20 supper solders and they died lol

love how the computer units are stonger than mine at all times even when i send the same unites same age steal lose the trade and this is on easy fix the ai thats complete bs

In all this time I just realised. The one smallest of details so insignificant it never would of bin found. An error so stupid and fun at the same time. In this game crossbowmen are called ARCHERS!!!

10 years later..... I am now 23 and have been in love wit hthis game and its sequel for 10 years. and it STILL to this date has the BEST song I have ever heard to date in instrumental form. the gameplay is still solid from the old strats I used to use in middle school. all I can say is I love this game. even if its is simple its still my number 1 favorite game of all time.

To beat impossible, you have to fully invest in turrets. They are the only thing that are worth more than they cost. You want to make the enemy stay in the turrets range for as long as possible, so spam the cheapest units available. This strategy should work up to modern ages. In modern ages, the enemy can go through your defenses really quick, making your units useless. Instead, try buying the best turret if you can, and use special when strong units come. In future ages, you absolutley need the last turret. Sell everything to try to get it. In that way, you can damage the enemy base without using units. Max out all the turrets, and you should win. Hope this helps.
