$40k gun doesn't fire bullets, it is an aoe around the ship.
As an aside, a small area blaster is better than any of the guns pre-made... get about 100 area, 4/sec fire rate, and maximize damage. I settled on 50 energy per shot, as a range where you can easily run 3 guns... and things die fast! *Final damage was 220 without replaying a bunch.*

For some reason, when I try to design more than one gun, the second one doesn't show up. I tried deleting my first gun, thinking that might be the problem, but it didn't fix it, meaning that I now can't add any more of my first gun to my ship. Bleh.

I made a 6x multiplier and never made it past the "enter name" screen. The game must have started, but I never saw it.

I tired making a weapon, but now it won't let me start because it says I don't have one, even after selling the custom one and buying a regular one

Very buggy in the gun management. When I remove guns they often get stuck in limbo - not active on the ship, but not refunded either. And the built-in $40k gun doesn't show its bullets in combat.

@ oddish: That's exactly what I did. Tons of fun! Could even be done without crafting any custom weapons. I personally hit 1017 ;)

I fear I have to give this game a 3/5. Too many bugs, I guess. My ship will stop moving at obscure times and the busy background throws off my perception, ensuring I don't realize I stopped moving until it's too late. And, for whatever reason, my guns won't always sell. Not game-wreckers, but discouraging to say the least. :/

Problem I had was some guns would just stop working. I have 3 guns that show on menu screen but randomly one would disappear when I clicked start. Would still show on menu screen but wasn't able to be sold.

Fun simple game. Needs some exended gameplay. After maxing everything and using freeplay to get 100's of millions, gets boring.

How to make the ultimate starter gun: completely fill up homing and rate of fire, leave all other stats lowest. This will make a swarming type gun that is VERY EFFECTIVE and only costs $1000. If you amp up your recharge you can add multiple swarming guns. All you have to do is hold down the mouse button and dodge enemy fire and you're good to go for the first several levels. + if it helps.

The aiming on weapons is glitched; if you make your own weapon for some reason it wont always aim correctly. Using three high power high speed gains aiming straight and one to each side two different shots are visable, one of them being stacked. sometimes They fire straight and one side sometimes both to teh sides. With 4 of these 2 each both on one off of straight, 3 shots are visable (should be two) again with one stacked as apposed to both being stacked

In fact, there are a lot more grammatical errors than just that one. Having correct grammar and spelling adds professionalism to the game. So,
1. Walk-throught should be "Walk-Through"
2. Shoot Power should be "Shot Power"
3. Armor should really be "Hit Points" based on what it upgrades
4. Armor rec. should be "Health Regeneration" or recuperation
5. Definition of "Max Energy" should be "amount of energy that you can store" not "amount of energy you can storage"
6. "Recharge" should be "Energy Recharge", and also the definition should be "Increases the rate of energy regeneration" or something.
Sorry to be a grammar nazi but honestly I think not having correct grammar would definitely hurt a game because people may not take it as seriously I guess. :/

You can create a weapon with only one at max and that will cost 1000$, do it with al of them and you can just beat the game like it was only the level 1

High levels of homing seems to cause the shot to home in on targets that are out of range, ignoring closer targets. Also, I have two weapons that can't be removed from my ship, and it's causing two other weapons I want to disappear when the level starts.

all you really have to do is make a weapon that has Max Damage, 10 Energy Consumption, 9 fire rate, and then you win the game essentially. And it only costs 370k as well.

You create a new weapon, spend all your money on it, then delete the weapon. Try to remove the weapon you create, and you will somehow loss all your money!!!!!!!!!

The best weapon you can craft, with the lowest energy consumption and the highest stats, costs 9,998,141,014. I wonder if someone ever got that.

Power 30, energy 20, fire rate 9, area 0, homing 20. only cost 9000 and will last to the end of the game (buy multiple)
