...honestly? After reading Millie's diary, I almost feel sorry for having to kick her ass. Almost. If she hadn't brought out that damn superweapon out of nowhere after I BARELY beat her in her AMU, I probably would truly feel sorry then.

I don't like being the grammar police but... seriously bad English. That alone knocked a point off my rating, unfortunately. Nice enough game, though.

Argh... Aiming, aiming and once more time aiming. If this system will be changed the game will be much less irritating when you loose.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow these are the absolute worst controls ever. I've never seen an autolock system that is so hard to get used to. I usually love these types of games...

So let me get this straight... Crappy unresponsive controls to aim [oh, aiming a bit behind the enemy, tab button, crap now leading the enemy, tap other button, crap trailing enemy again. Stupid developer] combined with a gun system that overheats all the time and an auto target system that requires you to dial in your "targeted" aim every time an enemy is destroyed. Great job dev, hows this for an idea for your next game, a pinpoint shield system like in robotech... manually aim your weapons and your shields at the same time... should be doable! Stupid dev.

some suggestions:1st: please make the active area of buttons the buttons edges, not the text in them. 2nd: the amount of gold is a bit hard to find/hard on the eyes with this sci-fi font. maybe contrast it by color and/or size from the rest of the numbers in the stat, upgrade and shop screens. So far, and the game looks like it has solid action, good controls AND a legit story. Thats so rare :3 So thanks for releasing it.

Ahh - thanks for the info on the mute button .... considering the amount of negative feedback on the game here though I think I won't bother now. Roll on tomorrows BOTD ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, so there IS a mute button... but only AFTER you beat the first level. Given the migraine I got from the game, on top of poor gameplay, 1/5.

@ Bigmac 79 - a poster here called me an idiot for not being able to find a mute button but he hasn't come back to tell me where it is. If you find it please let me know ;)

there should be a correction on how to get one of the achievements, you don't have to beat a level without getting hit, just beat a level with 100% shields, it will count even if you get hit and regenerated your shields (I got hit multiple times in stage 17, and still got it)

All the people finding the controls hard to use, I find the way aiming is presented to be a rather inventive way to handle mouse based movement when targets can come from any direction. It isn't really hard to learn after a few levels either, you just adjust the offset to lead your shots.

Its not that I dont like this control scheme(even though I never ever used a/d) yet I am getting really frustrated by the mouse movement +- offscreen. Losing control for a few seconds gets you killed and is just annoying. 3/5 rest was just perfect
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
While I certainly enjoy seeing a new twist to flying mechanisms, the adjustments are far too strong. I just tap A or D and my firing spins around far too much... Needs a lot of refinement there.

I found LOKI very easy to beat. With a certain tactic you can even dodge all of his shots. He only hit me once and that was without using the time disrupt overdrive.

Everyone are perfectly happy with WASD movement and mouse aiming. But nooooo, this game has to be different! Flying ships is supposed to be hard work, people, you will fly with your mouse and aim with WASD and I use the term "aim" very loosely here.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@michalius: Yes but then you have to dial in a different correction every time the enemy bounces off a wall or you kill it and the auto-aimer selects a new target that's flying in a different direction. That completely defeats the point of auto-aiming: continually adjusting to correct for the broken auto-aimer is less intuitive and more difficult than just manually aiming. The reason the controls here are unique is that every other game uses the infinitely better system of cursors to move, mouse to aim.

@beeble2003 actually, that's what the other buttons are for. A and D set the offset. Which is how far to the left/right from the center it shoots. That's for aiming ahead.

"HZ-X Divinedread" Desc:[Gatling] This weapon doesn't overheat"
Well, IMHO, there is not a weapon, which overheats more quickly than this.

The easiest way to defeat Loki is to use Heimdall and move very slowly perpendicular to Lokis line of fire. You won't get hit, unless Loki moves really close to you.
