This could have been a great game, but they ruined it. Every 10 seconds the gameplay freezes with annoying anouncements like Chain Break, overdrive etc. Auto-aim and closest target only are terrible ideas and the sheer amount of spelling/grammar mistakes get on your nerves very quickly.

Loki ist quite easy with the following: 1) AMU Odin, 2) Excalibur, 3) Moving slowly at the edge will avoid attacks of Loki most of the time, 4) at arround 40% hp and shield down go beserk (hit space) and kill him

So basically, in order to achieve highest max chain damage in this game, you have to beat a level with highest total health enemy in that level without getting any damage. Loki is the best by the way.

Completed this game over 6 years ago and replayed it now. I don't mind the controls - you get used to them. I do like the leveling system. However, I agree with Perillus: it's rather annoying that the game gives you all the best upgrad _when you are already finished_. I want another 5 or ten levels to play with my new Odin, Loki, Excalibur and Exca toys! Or maybe a survival mode...

Trying to get a head start on tomorrow's badge of the day. First impression - whomever is aiming for me is doing a pretty **** job of it. Bullet hell game where I can't aim my own gun? NEXT.

Well..once you sorta get used to the controls it gets better. I still don't understand it though..it switches your target..but only shoots in the direction you were aiming when you switched. I'm enjoying it a bit more but..I still don't know about it.

The cutscenes desperately need a way to move forward a line without skipping the whole scene. These guys talk *way* too slow.

IMO the 10th level was the toughest. Anyone else agree? Loki took a few times but I figured out that you can go around in circles to dodge him for the most part. Good game 5/5.

1. There IS a mute, it's in Config. 2. It would be nice if there was a way to see what your upgrades changed. Like how much does Attack change damage at your current upgrade level, since the weapon only shows the base Attack it has. Plus what does Weapon proficiency do?

Awesome concept with some fatal flaws in my opinion. First, controls are complicated. I can manage moving around/shooting/switching target just fine but trying to tilt shooting while managing everything onscreen is too hard.
Second, the text is so small. I had to use the magnify on my mouse just to read the workshop descriptions. I purchased a mine that never showed up as a weapon...pretty annoying. The second boss is way to hard and I shouldn't have to grind 10+ times just to beat it.

Devs, if you make us read, give us the control of how fast we do it. Not all of us are native speakers of English and some of us who are, want to read in their own pace. Thank you!

Finish Level 19 with just gatling? How about every level up to it too? That's what I did. Levels 15 and 16 were frustrating but I grinded up some cash from them.

The "targeting system" sucks! I cant aim at anything. It locks on automatically (which is ok) but I cant aim and many shots just miss the target. Very unusual controls. Not my kind of game.

I agree with Tarantus, using Valkyrie is how I beat both stage 20 and Loki. Best thing is that it allows, mostly, to hit 200k+ chains with impunity, making you get halfway there for an encore.

While I certainly enjoy seeing a new twist to flying mechanisms, the adjustments are far too strong. I just tap A or D and my firing spins around far too much... Needs a lot of refinement there.

For Loki I found that using AMU-5 ODIN (obtained after level 20) and Excalibur (obtained using Lightknife on level 19) as a weapon worked best. Don't try and dodge in the middle, just circle around the outside as fast as possible while firing. Spam invincible and once protected go in close to Loki as possible. It should die after about 2 invincible bursts.

Methinks Millie needs a WAAAAAmbulance :P Came for the Badge of the Day, stayed to finish it. Interestingly, although the offset aiming and no choice targeting bugged the hell out of me right from the start, it's perfectly playable with just the mouse if you use the right weapon for the level. Nice upgrades and a good balance 5/5

tip; holding down one of the arrow or wasd keys constantly targets enemys, you do a lot more damage this way + so others can see
