How To Not Make A Good Bullet Hell:
High Contrast Player Bullets, Low Contrast Enemy Bullets, No Spawn Warnings (Leading to free hits), No Consistent Enemy Patterns (Aside from spawn order), Forced Auto-Aim That Doesn't Calculate Offset (Making it functionally useless), Beam Weapon That Isn't A Beam Weapon, Very Low Damage Missiles, Spread-Shot That Actively Hinders You, And Proficiency System That Doesn't Allow You Choice Of Starting Weapon Type.

Also, this needs more control over volume than just "on" and "mute"; game volume is so high that it drowns out spotify

Horrible game. Controls complete nonsense. Whatever happened to aim with mouse, move wasd? Firing offset is useless. Good thing it was so ridiculously easy. I got my badge of day, I'm outta here.

Great game! It's like I'am playing one of those arcade shooters, but with a newer feel. 5 stars from me, though I'm having trouble playing because I'am on a laptop.

The animations and the songs are really cool, expecially for the lasts battles. I really enjoyed this game and the story with it, nicely balanced and a good assortment of weapons. Maybe just a little laggy, but nothing of so annoying. I still don't get it why this game have a rating of 3.7... it seems too much low, for me at last. I really enjoyed, surely 5 stars. Good work.

I don't like being the grammar police but... seriously bad English. That alone knocked a point off my rating, unfortunately. Nice enough game, though.

Hint for battle with Loki :
First- beat 19level with FIRST WEAPON (lightknife) you get a special weapon - excalibur. Second - Pick the fourth ship (Odin) and Excalibur.
Third - upgrade your Gatling gun and Beam gun to max level 99. (its easy at 19level)
Fourth - You must good mouse :D Start battle with Loki. Use your agility and miss his bullet for short time. Just use your Device (spacebar) and SHOOOOT NEARLY HIM!!!! after device you must again use your agility for short time... with second DEVICE i kill him.
Have a fun, keep this comment to alive :)

except for fanfir all the ex-weps are useless, and anfer getting fanfir even axia become useless, too bad you can´t toggle weapons a pwner combo would be excalibur and fanfir, and adding a challenge mode, like infinte waves or something like that would be really awesome, even locky with everything maxed can´t give a decent fight

The game becomes VERY difficult right around level 16-17. At that point, go back and keep beating the level 15 boss to grind your way to earn enough money to upgrade shield and attack to high levels. This makes the last few levels MUCH easier. (No need to beat level 20 before going back to unlock Excalibur on level 19) Personally, I beat level 17 with shield at 80ish, energy at 45, and attack at 99 and went from there. Also, as much as I like the multipath weapon up to about level 13, I eventually switched to beam. If your gatling proficiency level is still low because you stopped using it as soon as you could buy another weapon, go back and beat some of the earlier bosses to up that level before you attempt level 19 to unlock Excalibur. With the final AMU and Excalibur, I was able to beat Loki on my first try. I hope this helps someone!

@beeble2003 actually, that's what the other buttons are for. A and D set the offset. Which is how far to the left/right from the center it shoots. That's for aiming ahead.

im not too fond of the whole offset controls, and it seems that the damage, energy, and shield upgrades dont have much of an effect on the overall gameplay.

Anyone got a way make it work ? A working .swf ?
I've found some, but the game just gets stuck in the start of the tutorial...

One thing that bothered me was that upon killing an enemy, it automatically retargeted, even if the enemy killed was not your target.

Overdrive is a great way to not see what's happening. I also find the controls a bit awkward, but they're possible to get used to. The offset needs a sensitivity config, though, since I frequently overshoot even if I just tap it. It's also one of those games you're screwed if you happen to move the mouse outside the field, which is very easy to do.
