I also think would be better in the next sequel that we should get allies that are scattered around the map and you have to help them... if you agree please click +

The best way to kill the apprentice, BTW, is to trap him behind a body of water then destroy him with ranged attacks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmm. Zaliack finds the apprentice when he's not ready but when I am ready and need to find him, he's not there! How rude.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
*sigh* I've been attacking the apprentice from across the pond with a fully maxed sorceress for five minutes now. He just doesn't want to die.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ive noticed that when computer controlled characters get stuck they're just kind of like "well, i guess i'm just going to have to die here."
otherwise, great game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why does sometimes you will fight an apprentice even the quest says a different name? for example: you click the quest "festival help", after that you fight an apprentice who is ridiculously strong!

Im not even sure what to say about this one. It's a really cool concept to be the principle, training them, upgrading and graduating people. It can be stressful if you're going for the hard badge because for the last 3 months, the fame requirements shoot way up. The biggest problem is not being able to graduate students in your party. You can get to the final month with no penalties and have high enough level characters to make the final fame level , but get totally screwed over just because you cant graduate them in your party. And if you don't have the money to take on more students just so that you can swap them out and graduate the ones in your party, it's over. You can end up failing simply because they're in your party, even though they have enough fame.

i really like the concept of the game, but i hate the realization. No save points thx alot. I have trashed several games until now just cause i keep forgetting that its the 4th week of a month -> penality -> no badge o_O (i know its not the programmers fault)

I dont know if its just me, but the apprentice seems to only appear when i take at least two newly accepted students with me to a quest... that coward!

id like it more if errands were shorter, or if the grind quest were less.... grindy.. boring?.. grindy? same thing. :D

I would like to ask for easier quests at the beginning of the month, and harder ones at the end. It's hard to train freshmen against orcs and hungry wolves, and try to get some final precious LP at week 3 with level 2 errands.

It is possible to kill The Apprentice with the water+range trick, but takes a lot of time, it even depletes the casters' mana pools
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
stats still change after level 10 so there is still a chance to end up with the class you wanted don't promote too soon. + to keep alive

ok, is there any way to actually beat the apprentice because I've had two mages hammering him across some water for like 10 minutes and he's still just standing there mocking me essentially.

i feel like im getting screwed over by false percentages. i have failed the exam with 74% 6 times in a row, and 70% 5 times in a row. oh and 98% twice in a row. maybe im just unlucky today?

For those needing help: remember that the SHIFT key teleports everyone to the currently selected character. With that being said, you can use this to your advantage. Remember that enemies will not go around water, which means you can camp some mages across a river to kill enemies in safety. Now comes the harder part. You need to lure enemies to the killing spot (the tile across the river). To do this, select a character to use as a lure and press "W" so that your mages will not follow you. Lure some enemies with your character. When you get to the kill spot, quickly select one of your mages (use the 1,2,3,4 keys, whichever one has your mage) and press shift. Your 'bait' character will teleport to your mages and you can pound on the enemies.
Also, for tournament, I always kept a high level magilancer and a sorceress. The other two slots should be mid-high level characters. Remember that the tournament comes on the second week every 2 months.

Interesting game but doesn't really go anywhere. Needs more content, way better pathfinding and AI (my last fighter just went up against 3 wolves, killed one, then stood there doing nothing as the other two mauled him, argh). Also needs mages screaming "THE LZ IS HOT!!!!" when they embark into the middle of about 20 wolves. Also needs time-based level bonuses, it feels weird to be able to do high levels with poor fighters just by being very very slow and careful. Like the art.

Bug: the game keeps track of what you type even if you go to other label in firefox. While I type this, the sound keeps turning on/off.

I'm on my last week before the end of the year, and I have four fully upgraded characters. I need to be able to graduate them to get enough fame, so I can get the hard badge, but I don't know how to deselect them from my party. Can anyone help me? Saying that you cannot deselect them might not really help.

A little more strategy during the battles would be nice. At the moment you just point them at whatever you want to kill.

and one more thing, we really take all your comments and ideas into account for our development for the sequel, so if you got anything interesting let us know, and we will put your name in the credits
