If you could make it so that the character will buy the best thing that they can rather than just one level higher that would make the character look a lot less stupid

The reason the bard class is so strong is due to the the +all slot, +charisma slot, and the +defense slot. Given how much money he is able to get from his +charisma slot, he is able to continuously buy better and better equipment. This leads to better and better charisma, defense, and all stats, which leads to better equipment, etc. The high defense makes him unkillable, and the +all makes him generally good at everything. The race doesn't actually matter that much here, so feel free to experiment. Class is what decides what your equipment slots are.

the person below has a point, and this "game" is niche at best. however, that does not change the fact that it's entertaining to some people, including me. that being said, I can not, and will not sit here staring at the screen the while time, it's more like a "click play and check back the next day" type of "game".

theres nothing to do, nothing to see and people like it. one guy dare to say the truth thats its not a game, he was downvoted almost 30 times and then you wonder whats going wrong on earth...

Honestly, I love the concept of this. aside from the aggrivation of seeing the character walk around a field, coming infinitely close but never touching chest, I love it. especially the progression of the items you get

Trick: Go Gnome Bard at first till you rack up insane money and then switch to a high damage class with ascension and cruise out from there because your stacked on gold

Great game, but how to frik is my gnome bard carrying a gold piano as its weapon? Like pianos are heavy enough... and THEN you make it out of gold. THEN YOU give it to a 3 foot tall weakling. Love the game tho (Gnome Bard is broken)

Game is fantastic, I just wish it told me which spells were passive or active. Just so I don't get annoyed that my character isn't using them.

I found a method to get better purchased gear. If you have a high enough charisma and have alot of unspent gold, hit save when your character is walking to the shop. When your character finishes buying equipment, quit the game and load the save again. Repeat the process of quitting and loading but do not save. Better gear does not get lost when you quit the game. Keep doing this until you get better overall equipment. This would take long, but it is effective if you're struggling with foes. A Gnome Bard is mostly recommended to do this trick. Hope this helps.

Oh dear. It seems I'm facing an... "Insane Flower." Someone else did. Hey, can you shut up and just die for once? I don't need to throw my mercy at you!

My skills all worsened during my ascension. I think for this reason I won't use the ascension again. I think there needs to be a fix for it, like that the skill levels of all skills add up to the same number before and after the ascension. This would balance the weakness after the ascension. I've had multiple chars and they always got weaker after the ascension and could be trashed because they constantly died and didn't get anywhere. Please consider to fix this.

This game is pretty satisfying to watch, but I wound up getting myself softlocked. I picked a pretty weak build focused on cash but my character keeps picking the same quest, even though it's too hard for him to finish. Suicide doesn't seem to fix it, he just picks the same quest over and over and over.

I like this game quite a bit. It has bad graphics, but do you really need that much at all when it comes to Idle RPGs?

The classes each have a different combination of bonuses the equipment gives. Some will give a bonus to a stat or two and then have defense and damage. While others will have Damage and 3 equips that give defense.

@ derp1wow1 On and off for the past 5~6 years. There was a summer vacation that I had it running on my laptop non-stop. That was the save file that I had gotten to level 15. You have to finagle your way with the different classes to find a way to survive while not being over powered. If you are too strong the monsters health skyrockets...I have tried low charisma builds before. Once the character starts taking too long to kill something I usually just make another character.

Well if someone had started playing this game since early 2012 when this game was released... Tbh I think this Carleto12 guy could actually be that person. 2012 is his earliest comment that I can find, and one of his earliest comments stated that he had 500 Charisma. Carleto12 still lets it run constantly to this very day, so honestly I wouldn't be surprised if those leaderboard numbers were completely legit. I don't doubt the 500 Charisma thing either; currently I'm playing a Gnome Bard and this run has lasted more than 10 times longer than any other character I've created, and it is a walk in the park because I have so much money the upgrades are endless. I imagine if someone had a character just like this one since when the game was first released (and over time the devs might have even increased the stat maximums), I really think it would be completely possible. But 700+ levels on the other hand... that's another story.
