I prefer the magic classes because some of the spells later in the game make up for them being pretty weak in other aspects. Poison does an insane amount of damage after level 10.

Half Orc Barbarian is a good choice for new players who don't know what to try. They may have a lack of skills, but have a huge defence boost and deal big damage because of strength.

I didn't say you don't take damage. But after a few rounds one of those hits against you heals you instead of harming you. I have never seen any character of mine with a defense over 100 die.

So I was messing around and made a gnome Bard when i ascended at lvl 12 he is now level 13 with over 400 in his charisma and is fighting things with 6k health and not getting hurt how is this possible? did the game glitch?

this gnome rogue is beast, he is absolutely surpasing every1 of the others, using poison at the start of the round almost every single time is a dramatic game changing ability. i dont even want to ascend him as i dont think it can get much better as any other dex class..

running 4 windows atm, ambidexer orc is doing gr8 actually lvling faster than the others does alot of damage but only melee,gnome ranger is doing fabulous as well has poison 6 as its only castable spell and launches it almost immediatly securing the win,halfling arcane archer was asended from an elf wiz/druid drow and is much better than the first two forms at killing/draining to stay alive but has FAR too many useless skills and is doing the worst and finally of course is the gnome bard ive ascended 2x to the same class and although it has much better gear its a whole 2 levels behind the rest at only lvl 8 and 32 charisma. any1 have any advice on better builds? id like 1 to be just a huge tanky beast melee badass, a fast attacking dex type, a super spell caster, and im going to leave the bard be untill it has an awesome amount of gear then swap to whichever class is doing the best(atm the ambidexer)

Strangely enough Bard appears to be the only class that is neigh unbeatable. Bards combined with magic-using races tend to get high gold and combined with overwhelming stats they never die. Almost Lvl 14 and no deaths.

Gotta love the randomness of this game when searching for items in a quest. one quest, find perfect soap. spend half a day searching, give up. search for golden racket. enter area, take two steps, found it, leave

Totally agree with Kenkage on the XP, I do wish to see maybe some usable items as drops from monsters/bosses as well as the character automatically using it when it needs to.

This game needs a spell toggle. Most of the time, when my character has heal, it will keep on healing once hitting a certain threshold when it can kill the enemy, and ends up healing itself to death.
