Wow, one of the oldest games on Kongregate. It came out over 10 years ago. For a game made back then, it was one of the better ones.

I hate how the enemies stick to the sides and if your mouse goes off the screen at any point you can't attack so you take 8 hits before you can attack again.

I think it was a poor decision to have a screen that scrolls given that you can't control your samurai's movement except by using the mouse and you have to use the mouse to look around as well. It's also aggravating that the samurai won't attack if I create a slash with him off screen.

Game is not bad, but please fix:
- Boss jumping outside of the screen 90% of the time,
- Samurai freezing
- Dash not working after you click
With these 3 it becomes nearly impossible to finish the game

Last boss jumps outside the screen, rally hard to kill if you can't target him, please make him always visible.
Got stuckl on last boss, i tried to hit him on air while he was jumping outside the screen and now samurai is frozen, can't die or kill!!

I'm getting a problem where i draw the line but he just walks back and forth, 1st one works and after that depends on my luck. Anyone having the same issue?

The idea is good but I keep dying, so either I am really poor at the game or it is to hard. And it makes no sence to keep dying and then start a fight over to get to the next fight so you can get 100% health.
Also do you loose your bonuses every time you die or do they just not stack, becuase I kept taking dodge and after having taking dodge 5 pr 6 time I should be able to dodge at least halve the time, but I get hit every time, so what is the point with the bonuses?

1/5 this game is too easy. graphics and music are average. not only do all the enemies die in 1 hit, but you get invincibility frame while doing it. this design is garbage. no originality in the stages. since there is no difficulty with this combat, all the developer could do was add more enemies; this just makes the game boring and tedious. i imagine that the bosses can get hit more, but i dont see how that could make this game any harder. here are my steps to play this game: step 1: enter a level. step 2: click and drag your mouse around. step 3: win because this game is garbage. 1/5 no challenge. the reason why most games are entertaining is because they are hard. im pretty sure i could beat this game without looking at the screen.

Love all these people being 'Ugh this game is boring/controls are terrible', the game is over ten years old. Be patient with it.

The arrows to the guard tower seem to have 1% chance of hitting their target. I'm giving up after 20 deaths and no advancing.

It's very similar to the pvp version. Especially the delay between drawing and game action. It's more luck than Michelangelo to play.

Controls are awful. How many times my slash wasn't counted because I was a millimeter off the screen when trying to kill archers. Also, sometimes when I drew a long slash, the line stayed on the screen and he just stood there. I got the badges, but I would never play again. 1/5

3 Stars. I love the drawing your attack dynamic and you have the foundation for a 5 star game by kong standards but lack of polish and limited upgrades let it down.
Hope there is an upgrade in the future.

I love the part where an enemy stands on the edge of the screen and if you swipe even a little off the edge the red lines stays and you stand there until you die :-) that's awesome.
