well, a tears of sorrow are streaming from my eyes when I play this... i can remember even the release of this game many years ago and this browser remake makes me happy and proud that i can remember part from the gaming history... please, more old games in the browser mutations

Lags quite a bit and has no real mouselocking. Would be nice if there was a specific hotkey combo (like Control+M) to take the mouse out of the game and it was CONSTANTLY shown in the game or near the window.

Really AWSOME game I remembered that i played it b4 the map with the underwater tunnel is EPIC but the most awsome thing is the rockets you should put more quakes on here 5/5 +if you agree

Man, I love old FPSs. They have a certain magic to them like you're playing in an atmosphere of realistic danger and adrenaline.

I own a copy of the original, with 2 and 3 Arena. This is great and all but it would be nice if ID were to update the software so that newer OS' could run them. Especially Quake 2.

I find this plays best with F to fire, Arrows to look, WASD to move, E to switch weapons, Space to jump, and C to swim downwards.

I missed this game. I remember playing against the reaper bots. You talk about a gib fest. Small arena, 16 bots, rockets, and more raining meat than you could shake a really large stick at.

Don't forget: hit ~ and type crosshair 1 to get a crosshair. Helps for those that weren't used to the game back in the day.

@Klamech Even if this was a game programmed in flash..you can't keep the mouse inside a flash video..at least you shouldn't ;)
Nevertheless, I'm amazed that such a great 3d game runs smoothly as a flashgame..even if it's 14 years old..guess I should refresh my outdated flash skills :)
