Love quake, hate that they didn't find a way to keep cursor in the field of the game. Makes it impossible to move like you should :((( ruined my anticipation for getting back to good old quake.

This is the very first FPS I ever played on Mplayer (bought out by Gamespy). Was effing EPIC! Thats when I still used the keyboard to look around. LOL!

Those that complain about the graphics are idiots, this game is pretty old and graphics at that time weren't great. When it came, this game was one of the best of the best. And it still is. Good classic 5/5

I'm not accually in to these types of games, but I enjoyed this one ^^ The gameplay was smooth and simple so it was all around fun. Plus there was plenty of resources everywhere to keep me alive most of the time. I'm going to stop playing though, almost been playing for a hour now... 5/5

Concerning keyboard control issues, I can't change that. The game was ported to flash, not made in it. There are restrictions to what I can do. If you get an error like a black screen, try updating your flash version. If you are on linux, I don't know what to tell you. It works fine on both my mac and my pc. Don't send me messages about controls.

@theoboy1, doom1 is on kongregate made by mike id. also, u can go on xgenstudios or newgrounds to play doom, heretic, and hexen, all in one package!

Just noticed a bug. If you try to run forward and shoot at the same time, it closes the browser. Hopefully they can fix this.

This is pretty good. I never played Quake (gasp!), and I've always wondered what's so great about it. I know now.
