Concerning keyboard control issues, I can't change that. The game was ported to flash, not made in it. There are restrictions to what I can do. If you get an error like a black screen, try updating your flash version. If you are on linux, I don't know what to tell you. It works fine on both my mac and my pc. Don't send me messages about controls.

i got quake 4 and looked up teh title i found this played and thought wow it took them this long to find out to kill the Strogg they have to become one anyways great game 5/5

I remember playing this years ago when i was a kid. Amazing how far games have come since then. Still, a good game nonetheless.

Also, holding the mouse 1 button takes some getting used to.. since thats been my fire button since god who knows when.

Quake is an old game i played Quake 3 arena and Quake 4 the game is interesting besides the mouse edge thing man ima go download it 1 2 3 and 4

putting aside the fact that this person lacked any creatitivy or originality, and how much people normally moan and whine when someone rips off someone else's work and passes it as a game.. if you were going to bother porting it this way, you could at least have made it playable... -.-
having to hold my "fire" button to look around, and only being able to see 2/3 of my possible range without hitting the edges of the screen make this nearly impossible to play, and then theres the fact that this is wayy darker then i remeber, and you should tweak the gamma a tad if you bother trying to debug this travesty.

for god mode and all weapons with ammo, press ~ and type "go" and press enter "impulse 9" for weapons. can enter again for ammo refill. keep this one alive!

The game does have strafe movement. It's assigned to "a" and "d" by default but can be changed. Actually look in the controls menu.

is there any way you can change the controls to keyboard + mouse? also, i agree with those calling for a strafe movement. i noticed that when using WASD, A and D would strafe, whereas with the arrow keys, my left and right arrows would actually spin me left or right. this seems like a bug.

those of u who want to do a secret level with little gravity go to level 4 (the one with all the water) and get inside the building and u will have to press 5 buttons. when u press those 5 buttons u will see 2 chutes open up on the walls. go down each one and u will see a button. press both of them. u will see some text saying a secret cave has opened. go back into the water and stay to the right of the water and u will see an open hole in the wall. go into the wall and head up. u will see a portal and it will end the level

Hmm, 1 slight: I can't shoot. Either I use the left control-button under my left pinkie and fudge up the most basic move action due to an awkward hand-position or I remove my right hand from the mouse and use the right control-button. And then I can't pan and get ganked from behind and the side.
A way to change controlfunctions would be nice. If I am a fool and missed it, then at least add too the instruction part of the game's discription that you can do so.
