easy is really fun, but medium and hard mode verge on, if not go into, the realm of frustrating, slightly chory activity. I agree with everyone else on multiplayer, combat loggers are a massive issue. The concept and cards are cool, but there are just some difficulty and design flaws that have to be fixed. 3/5

Someone should add a tag to this game "luck based". There is not much skill in playing this, it's literally just a glorified RNG.

@steartcobra2 It does not freeze. It lets you see your opponents hand and then you click one of their cards to continue gameplay. This is for everyone having the same issue

Game has some issues discarding. I frequently try to select a card and it goes straight to my opponents turn without discarding the card. This seems to happen when my first selected card is a REVERSE. I see some odd text about a saboteur (not in my hand), but it only appears briefly and I can't read the whole line. Something like "Your sabotuer...."

Got the Hard badge rather quickly using a totally Build oriented deck, basically all the buildings but schools, all the pixies, guards, thiefs, add/all bricks, add crystals, sacrifice builder. Main goal is to get on par with CPU on resource production, so restart the match immediately if you don't get Builder and at least another Builder/Mage/Recruit in the initial draw. If you manage to start this way, and to avoid a Curse or Trojan Horse from the CPU, you have fairly good chances to win the match.

So I'm playing the campaign on hard, fighting one of the enemy castles, and after 50 turns or something like that things finally seem to be going my way. And now the AI isn't reacting anymore and I'm stuck waiting for it to play a card or end the turn... ._.

so I completed the campaign on hard, but it did not give me the medium badge (i got the hard badge tho). Is this intended? Btw big fan of the 2 castle war games. Gj to the developer :)

Easy badge - Doesn't work properly. I got it at random after finishing all campaigns and a handful of multiplayer games
Medium badge 1 - Should say "Complete the campaign on all difficulties" as finishing it on any difficulty will not grant you the badge
Medium badge 2 - Works, but multiplayer is dead
Hard - Works properly
Also the developer claimed to fix the easy badge when they "get the time to make a fix", 2 years ago.

after 2 days of non stop playing on hard mode, i realized its not just bad rng but on hard the games programming is written to specifically give the opponent exact cards to counter everything you do. its practically impossible to win on hard. the developer should be ashamed of making the game cheat like that. 1 star and flagged. vote me down all you want but it needs to be said.

cheap difficulty by lowering your rng for your card hand on hard mode. constantly losing because im getting all cards i can;t do anything with and the computer gets all useful cards.

So I win a battle by getting over 100 castle units, but the game doesn't show a victory screen or go back to let me select another castle or anything. My cards disappeared and it shows the last card I played, but I can't click on anything except the menu at the top. Is there something I have to do that I've forgotten? Or is this a glitch? Please help if you know anything.

This one is charming in the way that it comes with good backgrounds and livid models of medieval time castle independent from the other versions more of a build structure instead of fine rendered architecture. Nice.

When I play on some machines the resources are across the top, while on others it is vertical along the side. I much prefer it along the side. How do I switch??

If you guys really like this game you should check out Marcomage. It is a much better version of the original Arcomage game. It even gives you a win when your opponent quits!!

how do you edit your deck? I can select a deck but the only one that is available is default. Can't find the editor anywhere
