Right, I love Ants, and adding netplay is great and all, but I simply cannot give anything but a low rating to a copied game when it's posted to a site that gives out cash prizes. Cash prizes that are supposed to go to hard-working and innovative game developers. I'm sure plenty of effort went into coding this, but aside from a couple minor changes (e.g.: cost of the Curse card), it's a nearly-exact clone with a new name. Even the images and sounds are the same. I think the most important part of a game is the design -- that's where real creativity and effort is evident -- and you have shown us very little in the design department. No offense, m0rkeulv, I think it's very well put together, and it's always great to see Flash games with an online multiplayer element, but I just really don't think you deserve a cash prize for this submission, so I'm voting this a 1.

this would be good but, like everyone is saying, the deck distibution is wacked. I never got a fence card the first match (but the computer got plenty) and the second match the computer got at least 3 Babylon cards and I got 0.

Deck balance seems a bit off; also, instead of discarding one card, you should definitely be able to discard your whole hand, or at least 2/3 cards. It seems you spend many many turns doing very little until you finally get the powerful cards.

I do like the idea and design, but the cards themselves are unbalanced: the costs need to change and there needs to be more of a difference between start game and end game. (For instance, "Curse" is far too powerful.)

theres so many small cards that have so little use its boring. there r 2 many small cards and too little big cards. its all luck. if u get a good card, when, you have the big amount of whatever then your set. its so boring

Seriously, PLEASE do something about the bricks. They are the easiest to earn and the ones that take less to do something.
Whenever you're almost winning, your opponent just use a Fort card and rebuilds the entire castle. PLEASE FIX THE EASY BRICK BUILDING!

I'd like to see some cards that would allow you to manipulate the opponents cards. Like a steal a card thing, or force a discard. Potentially open it up for cards to work in conjunction with each other.

I love this game and all, but this is like a generic version of the game "Ants" by gemtree sofware made with the peter programming tool. Great work on the game though :P isn't one of the requirements to be your own work? those cards are the same images from Ants... http://www.gemtree.com/SHOOT/ants.gif

Good balance of skill/luck, and I think the strategy level for the average gamer is very good, I personally tend to dislike games with to much of an emphasis on strategy.

would be better if it let u play even when there were so many people and maybe more rooms would help too but anyway beside that it was still a really good game i give it a 4/4

All you need to make this a great game is the ability to discard several cards at a time.
Additionally; Does this game have a 'Deck' that it pulls from, or does it just generate cards randomly? If it generates randomly, I would assume certain cards are weighted to not show as often... Make the Conjures not show as often. >.> I keep ending up with six in my hand.

I think the luck/skill ratio is fine. first you have to get the luck (to get the cards you need) then you use your skill to use the cards effectively. Take out the luck, and the same people win over and over.

I like the turn-based aspect, but I'd like to see more balance between skill and luck. And the ability to discard multiple cards per turn.

Its pretty good. After a few plays against the computer I feel the result is a bit too dependant on who gets more "recruit" cards.

I am super addicted to this game, the fact that there is online play makes it about 10000x better. I only wish the "random" dealing was more fair, there have been games where I have had zero curses, and my opponent got 4 in a row.

I'm completely hooked. I've been playing this for 3 days. I would really like to see a wider variety of cards but for a v1.0 this is excellent. maybe in the next one there can be some updated animations... builders building the walls, dragon for the dragon etc. Great game though.
