yeah, for me, its not so hard to win. its just hard to not find a jerk who doesnt leave right before you're about to win...i guess there's the second version, Castle Wars 2, but then again, that one isn't just as classic...with that one i cant tell anything on the menu......

Yea um my game froze in the middle of a game after using the chat box. And you couldn't pay me enough to wait around for 5 multiplayer wins. I'm out of this one. Peace.

so even though you rate a card really high....it often doesn't come along when you need it anyway. I'd rather play a better game.

THIS GAME HAS SO MANY GLITCHES! How did this crap hole make it through the line up? seriously. Its completely random, sometimes the ctr click works, sometimes it doesnt, and when it doesnt THE GAME IS F***ing OVER! But, when it does work, its lots of fun.

I'd say 3 out 4 stars. The game is a lot of fun, but the frustration that other people quitting causes has made me give up trying to get the medium badge and that really sucks.

wait, I remember playing castle wars 2 not long ago, so when I saw they made badges for the first castle wars i was pretty surprised... oh well, it's a decent game 3/5

This game scores a 1 for having an online mode that's so badly broken. Took me more time to sign up than I actually got to enjoy myself, between disconnects, game breaking when I typed in the chat box etc.
It takes some gall to put in achivements related to such a broken online system. Make it a single player game that works and you'll get some actual points

if you change the deck so it is only 10 knights, and 10 archers, and you only use knights you always win (unless you draw all archers)

Ugh - the luck in this game is ridiculous. My opponent got FOUR Babylon cards and two Curse cards, and I got absolutely none of them.

I can't believe this is a featured game. It's utter crap. I have tried to play it so I could find some redeeming quality in it, but nope this thing is a turd.

Having grown up playing Magic The Gathering, this game is really good - it sort of reminds me of magic, but in it's own unique way that it's a completely separate game and totally fun. I REALLY like playing it. I've never had any bugs playing it, and I've played it A LOT. Good game, fun game, thanks. :) (castle wars 2, however sucks - the layout of what you have/resources is bad, they tried to make it too "web 2.0-ish" and made it crap)

Uhg the computer AI guy froze cause he didnt have any cars to choose from fix the glitch to where you just win if they cant choose a card >:| and it also happend to me!

the way to win from the computer:
get all the blue and green cards out.
(only keep conjure bricks and maybe sorcerer if you want)

save both you and your opponent the frustration of being bored with this rush deck: 5 conjure weapons, 5 conjure crystals, 5 attack, 5 dragon, (and from now its your choice up to 70) 5 archer, 5 rider, and 5s of the weakest brick stuff...always use conjure weapons and 5 attacks, use you weak weapon stuff if you have over 10 weapons, use conjure crystals, then dragon when u need that extra BANG at the end to win, and use ur useless NON-WEAPON AND NON-CRYSTAL stuff when you have nothing else to put down. if you don't win within 5 turns, you've probably failed and should quit and restart

PRESS CTRL ONCE IF YOU CANT CLICK A CARD AFTER CHATTING..
you dont have to discard it.. just press ctrl once like you would discard..

I'm having trouble with not being able to click a card in multiplayer. Seems to happen every so often when I can still speak in the chat, but it just won't let me click a card. Annoying!
