I really think that there's too much based upon luck in this game. There really aren't any combinations you can do with the cards, and though it'll be an average distraction, there just isn't enough substance to really consider it a higher-ranked game.

I like the game overall. It seems that the computer opponent gets better cards than the player most of the time. All things aside this is a great game. Levels would make it even better. Particularly if it got harder as you leveled up. Maybe giving you new cards as you level up.

great game quite addicting, takes a few practices to get it down and you rind out fast that a little bit of luck is invovled with what cards you get

Having tried several games, the luck of the draw seems to determine everything. If I get early builders etc., I win easily; if the computer gets twice as many (more often the case), I have no chance.

Amusing, but a lot of luck. My first "beginner" game against the computer, it got about a dozen of the school/sorcerer/knight cards before I got two. That was not something I could overcome.

Limit the number of cards in the deck and the number for each type of card. Maybe only 4 curses but 15 walls (and so on). Then reshuffle the deck and start again.

This game is mostly well done, but I gave it a 2 for copying the Might and Magic card game without any interesting spin of its own. They could have at least tried a different setting or window dressing, but instead went with a blander version of castles and walls.

a really fun game, lol but sometimes it gets frustrating when you get dealt a reeeally bad hand. play for hours though...

It's not just the concept; the entire game is copied with very few changes to the sounds or graphics or gameplay. There's nothing wrong with that - I love this game and I'm glad to see it brought to more people with added netplay - but in my opinion, the cash prizes are there to reward game-makers, not game-programmers. If Raiden X were uploaded to Kongregate, I would vote it a 1, too. No offense; if this were strictly a game-ranking site, I would have voted it higher.

Right, I love Ants, and adding netplay is great and all, but I simply cannot give anything but a low rating to a copied game when it's posted to a site that gives out cash prizes. Cash prizes that are supposed to go to hard-working and innovative game developers. I'm sure plenty of effort went into coding this, but aside from a couple minor changes (e.g.: cost of the Curse card), it's a nearly-exact clone with a new name. Even the images and sounds are the same. I think the most important part of a game is the design -- that's where real creativity and effort is evident -- and you have shown us very little in the design department. No offense, m0rkeulv, I think it's very well put together, and it's always great to see Flash games with an online multiplayer element, but I just really don't think you deserve a cash prize for this submission, so I'm voting this a 1.

this would be good but, like everyone is saying, the deck distibution is wacked. I never got a fence card the first match (but the computer got plenty) and the second match the computer got at least 3 Babylon cards and I got 0.

Deck balance seems a bit off; also, instead of discarding one card, you should definitely be able to discard your whole hand, or at least 2/3 cards. It seems you spend many many turns doing very little until you finally get the powerful cards.
