Under rating threshold (show) Still no idea why we can't delete our original hero, even though we make them with almost no knowledge of the game and having literally been told not to put to much effort into their costume design, and I don't know how common it is but I accepted the costume without even noticing I had to change the name on that screen. At the very least the ability to remove and add new powersets and change the name and costume would be welcome.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game! PvP feels more like a good physical CCG than anything else on Kongregate, and the single player campaign is huge. Agree that a speedup button would be nice.

Under rating threshold (show) My issue is that it appears that the AI doesn't play by the same rules that humans do. As I understand it, you can only have two of a single card in your deck as powers. But more than once I've seen an AI opponent pull out 3 or more of the same power in one fight (unstoppable, most often). I don't mind hard fights, but I am a believer in the idea that in a CCG environment, everything should play by the same rules.

This is true. The AI is allowed to bend a few rules for thematic reasons (like Eight using multiple copies, or Keen using invincible multiple times) and to help make up for it's lack of ability to make strategic decisions (like when the AI dazes you, even though you have 0 focus or when it throws damage at you when you're protected, etc.). The AI can also cycle item cards (as opposed to them being discarded) for the same reasons.

We have already made some big improvements on speed. We'll continue to make more improvements. In the mean time, have you tried clicking "turn animations off" in the hero select screen (right before you enter battle).

Even when it was being actively developed (and updated), the game wasn't growing fast enough to support it's cost. We really love making games, so decisions like this one are difficult to make :(

Under rating threshold (show) There seem to be two typos regarding Tree of Life. Both the item Seed of Life and the Pollen from TOL describe the TOL generated from them as a 0/4 TOL. But it's always a 0/3 TOL, isn't it? I did not check use the SOL, but pretty sure Pollen has always turned into 0/3 TOL.

Under rating threshold (show) If you're closing the game anyway, why not just make all cards/packs/premium levels purchasable with in-game money, as well as unlocking the premium missions (with the missions perhaps costing energy as normal), and turn this into a standalone single-player game (removing the competitive features if that's part of your expenses)? At least then you could use it to promote whatever your next game is. Most Kong games aren't costing their developers money AFAIK, so that would be one way to eliminate costs while still maintaining brand recognition and loyalty. I've got a fair bit of experience developing console games, and maybe it's a very different marketing strategy on Kong, but something tells me it's not. Give people something for free, then see if they come back for your next (presumably microtransaction-based) title.

CLASH uses the same codebase for Kong and Facebook. Since the game is only being taken off of Kong, making everything free would not work. In regards to games on Kong not costing money, any online game developer incurs server costs.

Under rating threshold (show) Having to have a full deck seems is rather limiting and reduces strategic options. For example, being forced to tag along 6 allies on a mission where allies are a liability and just clutter up your power list.

Thanks for the feedback, Suuljin. For CLASH: RoH, we deliberately designed the game around the requirement of a full deck of 6 Allies and 12 Powers. This certainly limits depth of deck creation, but has the positive impact of making it a much more balanced game.

Under rating threshold (show) I need to report a bug. 1 Flash Freeze was played, followed by 1 Hypothermia, reducing my strength from 2 to 0. After my turn was over I should have been restored to 1 strength, but I was still at 0 and stayed at 0 for the entire game.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game. One thing that would improve it a lot is if there was an option to skip your turn in order to discard your hand and draw 5 different cards next turn; it's frustrating the way your hand can get clogged up sometimes.

Having a deck that doesn't clog your hand is all part of your deck building strategy. However, there are cards, like strategize, that allow you to discard your hand.

Under rating threshold (show) A way to restart the account would be nice. If I had known some of the stuff I do now when I was creating my first hero I wouldn't be stuck. Also maybe making repeating a quest give a little more reward so I could work past being stuck would be nice.

Under rating threshold (show) found a bug with Warp, he's got 30 shield and I've got enough healing cards to out last him, it's round 33 right now and I just now clicked attack without playing any cards, I noticed something, my hero has stopped going in to attack, using her STRength normal attack, in case this isn't clear I mean when the card physically moves forward to strike the other card.... it's quite the interesting bug.
