On the update it says: "You can not rearrange the playlist by dragging and dropping the songs in the playlist!" but you can, so I guess it was meant to be "You can NOW rearrange..." You might want to rewrite it. Awesome app by the way, loved the first one and love this one.

Thanks for being understanding about the broken quests everyone! There was a massive memory leak involving the quests, and when I fixed that I accidentally broke how the quests function. Should be fixed now though!

After giving Elite Quests a try, I think that their rewards should depend on time needed to finish them. Cause I'm getting same reward for listening to two and to five songs, and I could run Elite Quest twice, get x2 or x3 songs, and end with more experience :)
One of the points of the patience quest was that there is supposed to be a "jackpot" element to it, so you will be lucky if you get a listen 2x or unlucky if you get a listen 5x.
EDIT: But, I think giving rewards based on time required to complete, as well as difficulty, is a great idea.

Um it seems to me that this app still has a few bug...
One i noticed right now is that soetimes it get stuck playing one song over and over again and i didn't use repeat... just stuck there, not going on with the list

I made this game a Kongregate exclusive because I love community behind it, you supported me when other communities turned their backs on MusicQuest. Why, you may ask, do I care so much about this? Firstly, MusicQuest means everything to me. Secondly, I wish to continue developing features on MusicQuest to make your experiences better. But without sufficient attention, I can't generate enough ad revenue to even pay for food. I will have to give up on MusicQuest...

Hey, why is it that when I favorite an artist and listen to the songs from the favorite page, I get less results, then when I search for the artist manually(from the artist page)
Just the way I designed it. Basically my throught process was that users would have a bunch of favorite artists, so only giving 15 songs per artist made sense as to make sure the playlist would not get too big.

I just want to say thank you for taking everyone's advice, i have never seen a game where the developer responds and makes changes to what the people say as much as you do. Keep up the good work:) Also, maybe as you level up, you unlock things such as themes (color schemes) or games you can play while listening to songs (little mini games perhaps). Also, could you add a way to order songs in a playlist? there might already be a way but i have not found it yet. Thank you for making one of my favorite games :)

There should be a way to add songs one by one to your own playlist, instead of deleting the hundreds you don't want. but other than tha, i love this game, its really good at helping me discover new music:)

You know what there should be? A youtube user search button, So that we can search for certain youtube users that made a few music videos. I am having a nearly impossible time trying to find the music video simply titled ''Ï•''.

Extremely awesome idea indeed. All in one place with many options and a lot of information. But I think it really lacks "World" genre. Just as seen on last.fm. This fact makes me sad because that's the kind of music I listen to most of the time.
Are you planning to make it something more than just a flash game? Maybe fully functional application with even more options?

Some categories are hard to please. Such as: "Listen to an artist known for dance music". I put on the Macarena, and it doesn't count. Weird. Probably lastfm's fault.

Uh, sarte, just writing down my opinion. Badge Master and Step Seq. are apps, not games and yet they end up on the front page. The second part, though, I have nothing to say because I absolutely have no opinion whatsoever on that. I firmly believe that MusicQuest Pro deserves to be on the front page, oh yes. :D

One complaint. When I am listening to The Beatles and I want to add some Who songs to the playlist, what do I get. A couple of who songs and a SHITLOAD of crap I didn't want!

Update: In order to get completionist points the song must over 60 seconds long. Also, you can only get points for reading an artist bio once per song.

I have three mayor bugs:
1. Songs stay on repeat, even when the 'repeat-button' is off.
2. Quests don't work, for example: "Current Quest (0:00): Listen to the artist "" for (-450) seconds. (0xp)"
3. The loading for the sub-menu 'Genres' and everything below it takes extremely long (over 5 minutes and still counting).
Still a good and innovative app though! 4/5

This app is awesome. So awesome, it fixed my life. I used to spend hours upon hours searching for music that I liked. Now, all that is fixed, i find the music with a few clicks. That saves me at least an hour daily. It helped to pull myself out of depression. It is awesome, and I will do whatever I can to increase the developer's ad revenue. Can you make a checkbox in the game, that lets the game display ads in the bottom of the screen or something like that, if it's not against kong's rules?
Thanks benas, that means alot to me that it has helped you. That ad thing is indeed against Kong's rules. Right now the best way to help is to upvote that coment I posted so that others can see it as well.

I think they need more veriety of quests. Im just bored of searching tags to listen to some kind of song. I want more, for example - "Listen to 3 songs by the same artist." or "Listen to the same song 2 times in a row." Yeah and OF COURSE give us enough time to do those quests.

Hm...I like the idea but the only problem is that I can't predict how long the songs will be. What I mean is that I don't actually know how long a song is until the youtube video comes up.
