Under rating threshold (show) Could use a slightly larger game area, especially on the top and bottom (make the area a square?) since enemies tend to appear and hit you before you have a chance to see them. Making the little red "incoming" things more noticeable and appear maybe half a second earlier would also help. It's annoying to try to maneuver away from an incoming enemy only to have new ones pop out of the edge on top of you with no time to avoid them.

Under rating threshold (show) Very good game. I like the fact blowing up an enemy makes an explosion which pushes you away. Only problem is that there is no way to save. Once you die you are dead and must restart. Perhaps a checkpoint system would be good.

Under rating threshold (show) Having gotten quite far now, my advice: 1) Upgrade the missile launcher to 5/5 as early as possible - it fires at enemies off screen and once you hit 4/5 the upgrade points just start flowing in. My mistake - I spent a lot of points upgrading armor when the blast wave really becomes essential to getting enough space to launch your missiles. The main gun, despite being called the 'most important weapon' really is only good for pinpointing ships behind you that aren't easily targeted by the missiles. So for part 2 of this game - maybe combine it with the gameplay style of highway jumper so that if your ship is about to blow you can try to teleport to another ship - or maybe even use that as your upgrade path mechanism, where each ship has a different weapon/armor/special and once that ship's shields are down you can teleport into it with a bullet time slowdown. Just throwing it out there.

Under rating threshold (show) Among many other fixes, this game needs a grace period after getting hit once before you can take more damage. Sometimes a single tiny enemy might corner me & smash me instantly.

Under rating threshold (show) Once you start getting hit multiuple times thats really it, because more suddenly appear, then you get pushed into another one which instanly kills you. Also theres not more room to manover or evade enemies. But great game enjoyed it loads 5/5 for me, love it. Good luck in continuing to improve this (hopefuly). Thanks for a great different game. :D

Under rating threshold (show) don't need to steer for much of the early part of the game. Focus on aiming towards the red triangles. Mid game (so say, when you need a weapon level of 5-6 and missles of 3 or so) you need to save up and ramp up repairs, but even then you don't have to move much. Which is good because it is often easier to find the enemies that your own ship - needs some sort of blue arrows on the edges to make that part more reasonable - a few bounces lost behind a big cloud in the corner and you are done.

Under rating threshold (show) here's a few things you could add: customizable keys- Because not all keyboards have WSAD in the same spots. better graphic quality- It's hard to even read things in this game. bigger screen- There's just not enough room to see whats going on, expecially since enemies often fly off screen. more noticeable arrows for enemies coming from top and bottom of screen- They're just so tiny we really can't even see them. ability to skip tutorial & intro- Once we see it once we don't want to see it again. Mutable sounds- We might have our own music to listen to while playing and don't want to have to listen to yours. great work so far though, keep at it!

Under rating threshold (show) pixelization when you get hit sucks, especially with the clouds, all of a sudden you cant see yourself and you+all your enemies are a giant grey and purple blob, then your dead. its a very fun and addicting game, but 2/5 for having fail clouds and pixelization.

Under rating threshold (show) This does NOT need a checkpoint system. It is a survival game, much like Left 4 Dead is. If you can finish the game, good. But otherwise you need to survive. If you're going to play it like that, you'll enjoy it rather more. I do agree that the game are could be a little bigger. But the main issue I have with this game is the lack of music. Just replace that elevator music with something more dramatic. You can find great soundtracks for free from Incompetech. Otherwise great game.

Under rating threshold (show) I actually like how you have to start over when you die. It makes mastering game mechanics the deciding factor of how well will you do. For instance, last time i died, i got stuck because there were many enemies around me, and my blast wave was still recharging. Knowing that, i will try to use it less and save it for these kinds of moments. 5/5 btw, even though the window could be a little bigger

Under rating threshold (show) this game is a wonderful time waster! the repair makes the game unique and so does the upgrade station. the graphics are awesome and the physics are amazing! another good thing is that when you shoot an enemy, it doesn't keep coming as if it dint get hit. instead it bounces back a little. overall, a really fun game! PS; on the main screen, you can click and drag to twirl the planet. :D

Under rating threshold (show) A better difficulty curve would work. First I'm here, happily blowing up everything at ease, and suddenly I'm surrounded by several dozens of the big guys with a lot of HP and several dozen of the bomb-like enemies, and I die almost instantly. I didn't even have the time to use my own bomb.

Under rating threshold (show) Not a bad shooter, but still not a GREAT one. Could use some bosses, and of course the Kong API. Is missing something else, but can't really figure out what as I keep playing for some reason attempting differing upgrade paths. OH! Maybe stating bonuses for the achievements you have unlocked (an extra point or so to spend from them would be great, making it a bit easier and adding more of a replay value to it.

Under rating threshold (show) I dont see why everyone is complaining about checkpoints, etc. This is meant to be an arcade game, like Geometry Wars, or the original Donkey Kong... And it does a great job of it too, with great physics, and a fun upgrading system. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) I think the biggest annoyance in this game is the game window, would love to have it be slightly taller, and have the red arrows (warning of enemies) be 20% bigger, and come 0.25 second earlier, tiny adjustments I know, but I usually die to enemies spawning at the top or bottom of the screen, because the warning is difficult to notice, and the game area is so small when it comes to height, meaby have a difficulty slider which decides how long/big the warning arrows are?

Under rating threshold (show) The amount of recoil from firing missiles is a bit much. I didn't even bother trying to move most of the time since I'd just get tossed around the screen by recoil, explosions, and collision anyway and have no idea where I was due to all the clouds and smoke. The tininess of the screen compared to the speed of the enemies also made it largely pointless to move. Bigger play area and/or slower enemies. Better visibility. Less recoil.
