I think that killing the guards would be a great idea. I see it as kind of a risk/reward type of thing. You see, killing the guards gives a higher chance of the other guards finding a body. That's what I think, at least.

Guard logic: there are wide-open pathways for me to look and protect our client. Let me just stare straight at this wall...

Guard training = Shoot everyone who isn't blue or green. Target training= if you see someone who isn't blue or green and has a knife, ask for some food

My favorite part is how the guards react to encountering your victim's corpse after you've already escaped. "Oh, would you look at that, the VIP is dead. Meh, nothing to see here, let's keep guarding."

Getting "ultimate" is based completely on luck in some levels. Sometimes, the guards never stop staring at the target, and I have to get myself shot to start over.

Given the random moving patterns of the guards and targets, plus the random spawning of the exit, getting the ultimate achievement on some missions is entirely up to luck... that's the only negative aspect in my opinion... oh, and add a quick restart button if you can

Great game, I just wish the levels weren't ALL designed around the 2 minute limit and the 30 second "ideal" time. It'd be a lot of fun to have levels were you need to take your time, slowly creeping around a ballet of red view cones. It's almost there now, but everything's over too fast! If there were fewer levels (in regards to the game proper, obviously) and the ones we played were larger, I don't think anyone would complain ;)
I also would've liked to see some levels were being spotted is a necessary - or at least very useful - tactic for getting the guards away from the target. It's cool that you can theoretically beat every level without alerting the guards, but it also removes some fun strategies from the player. And then there's fun stuff like causing distractions, having specialized guard units, having an armed target, etc - which would all be neat, but not necessary.
Just some thoughts for Ultimate Assassin 4! :D

Okay guards, listen up. I want you to shoot anybody that looks even remotely suspicious. If you lose sight of him just go running around instead of taking the obvious route to his hideout. And most importantly, if you still dont see him after a few seconds then his DEFINITELY GONE!

Nothing new, just more of the same maps, AI, etc. Still massively relying on luck for most missions, especially the Ultimate achievements. The spiral maps and the ones where the only exit from the starting position is in the path of several guards are ridiculously boring to play - not that the rest are much better. I expected much more from this series than it has delivered.

i hate the desing of lv 12, the most other have different ways to go and solve, but lv 12 you must go 1 way and then the same way back. Only luck how the guards move, to beat it in under 30 sec, is not that what make fun to play

@Urak: I think upgrades are in vain of the spirit of the game. It derives its complexity from its simplicity. Adding an upgrade system would make it a different game entirely (which isn't a bad idea, imo). I could see a spinoff series utilizing upgrades to enhance stealth and combat to dispatch / evade guards without sounding the alarm, with enough haste to reach the VIP before he escapes. Would be a LOT of fun, but it wouldn't be Ultimate Assassin ;)

Rule 1 for guards: shoot anyone that is not supposed to be there. #2: If you see a dead body, sound the alarm #3: if you dont find anyone, give up and leave the body alone.

Great game, really. But after a while, it gets dull. three games with very little change, just do the same thing over and over.

Love how guards spot you that very precise tiny moment you walk into their line of sight, not even a millisecond passes before they manage to process that you're an intruder. This is especially awesome, seeing how they tend to make completely random sharp turns, meaning every single time you're running near the guard, you're gambling. That's it, it's a gamble.. a gamble where you hope the guard won't make a sudden turn and insta-react to your pixel appearing in their line of sight.

Okay, Assassin. How about... And stick with me because this seems radical... Ranged weapons. Perhaps you could throw that knife. I mean, you must be getting paid pretty handsomely, so maybe you can afford extra knives to go along with that insanely awesome cloaking suit you have.
I understand that you have enough morals to know that killing innocent bystanders is wrong. How about knocking them out? A nice knock to the back of the head, and they're out like a light. If it works for Batman, it can work for you.

*the guard is chasing me. I ran as fast as I can to the target, kill him, and then guard kills me*
- We're ultimate security!

Quick our boss is dead and there are bloody footprints leading into that room should we enter it?" "Na lets just run the other way and hope for the best

Aside from the lack of pattern in the guards movements, therefore increasing the luck factor making the game kind of annoying, an instant replay key would be appreciate.

Dear Guards, When you ask me why I'm hiding, The answer will always be: Because you have a gun. Sincerely, The Assassin you hate.

I don't think the guards like their boss much. Guard: "Somebody killed the boss, find him!" Five seconds later: "Meh, never mind" Also, there is some kind of bug, because some levels have VV's instead of floors, while others has crates hallways and guards as floor graphics, you can walk through them.

Good job! Just a note: Z and X aren't a good choice because they haven't standard positions on every keyboard.
Every other key would be fine ;-)

Guard: Who killed the boss?!
-runs around for 3 seconds-
Guard: Why was I running around again?
-finds the same dead body-
Guard: The boss is dead!
