A very cruel thing in the game is being poisoned...gives tons of damage and goes on FOREVER. I'm stuck in the game cause of this. I saved my game while i was poisoned and cant even reach a shop for an antidote cause I always die after a few steps! dude!

Well I have found a glitch. My game, quite often too I might add; gets stuck going in one direction. Its frustrating when your "Hero" goes up or down , left or right on its own, then you have to restart the game. sucks.

So after grinding forever against billions of enemies all exactly like the last, you get to the boss, and he says "Ey, whatta ya doin' here? Get outta here ya scamp!"
Then the main character says you're gonna have to pay up if you want to know what happens next. This is seriously the worst Zelda knock-off I've ever played.

Well, I liked this game. From time to time the monsters do get a little bit tedious. Here's what I did and most of the game (including the end) they didn't take that long to kill: 1) Every now and then I upgrade student. This way I level up faster and actually get to spend more points on increased attacks. 2) I also spent some (few) points on luck & money collector. This way I relatively easily managed to upgrade my weapon quite regularly. Believe me, the Golden Flame is a *very* powerful sword. 3) Many enemies can be trapped against an obstacle. A fast weapon (like most swords) can the get multiple hits in in a very short time and kill even an enemy that requires 5+ hits within 2-3 seconds. 4) You sometimes progress faster by farming a bit since enemies that u can kill in 1/2 hits goes alot faster than stronger ones and the farming then gives alot of XP & gold. In the end I had 20 points (max) in student and was lvl 79. The enemies fell in +- 4 hits!

I think the big problem with this game is that combat is far too tedious. Every enemy has almost the same AI. And why are there no interesting boss fights?
And why do you need a manual to push things? The character is able to comprehend whacking monsters with a sword to make them die, but he can't understand how to apply force to a rock without a manual?
And then there's this: it feels like it ought to be a Zelda clone, yet it's missing staples of Zelda games like bombs and a handful of other items.
I rated this a 3/5 because it feels average. It doesn't do anything seriously wrong, but at the same time it is unremarkable. Thanks for the badges, I guess.

3/5, there are 3 problems you see: | 1. Enemies have too much health. | 2. Moving between screen takes too much time, for me. | 3. NPC looks just like a robot. (I accepted a quest of a father looking for his son, then when I found the son, the son says: "Thanks for the help, I'll come home soon.")

In most RPG games I play, if you upgrade your character equally, enemies of the same level should take only 3 to 6 hits to kill (they can kill you instantly though), in this game, because I thought dodging and hitting enemies was easy (enemies just charge you linearly, or shoots object to only 4 directions), I focused on attack. Guess what? Enemy of the same level can take about 10 to 20 hits to kill!!

Very fun game, but only gets a 4/5 for two reasons. 1: Monsters have too much health, as you can see a lot of people complain in the comment section about it, so it's clearly a problem. Secondly, in the last dungeon I was warned that I would be surprised once I reached the end. What I was surprised about is that there was no final boss. I was so disappointed thinking there would be an epic boss fight... Oh well. Awesome game, hurry with the sequel!

i would like to remember where i got the quests (could use the system of exclamations and questions signs like in mmorpg (!, ?) now i have a quest that say's "go south of here to the little cave bla bla bla" south of where? i stopped playing yesterday and don't remember where i got this quest... i'm stuck

michaelthefirst, you have to fight monsters and level up then spend your skill point on the newly unlocked Push skill.

I actually kinda liked it, but I do agree with the criticisms that the monsters have way too much health; my poor J key got a lot of abuse until I got the strongest sword in the game. The story is pretty simple too, so I mostly stuck around to look around the world, kill monsters, and power myself up, which felt satisfying to me. 4/5

Finished the game. I gave it a 4 star. Yeah it has its problems but it was entertaining enough for me to finish. I see a lot of people whining about how many hits some enemy's but i didn't find it that bad. It kind of added a little bit of difficulty to a game that has little difficulty at all. If i could add one thing it would be boss battles prior to the main items you have to get. If i could take something away it would be all the pointless weapons. Over all Great game. Waiting to see your next one

Pandora's cave is optional. When you walk in there is a save spot to the left of a block. Just walk up to the right of the block and you will automatically go to the end.

It is a fun game. Go MapleStory tactics and put all your points on Strength. Then prepare for a grindfest. lol -- It's sad thought. Once you reach level 100, it glitches everywhere! Oh noes! Please fix this or at least put an exp cap on level 99. ~_~

I bought a 12+ strength ring for the lady lost in the forest but, for some reason the game will not let me complete the quest!?

You serious? I have to find the tome then waste a skill point on learning whats in the book I just read? No, just no.

How the hell are you okay with releasing a game in which bats have almost 2x the HP of a zombie? It makes no sense you're lucky this has badges. Not even a good zelda knock-off, controls are sketchy and combat is tedious.

Well if you're bound and determined to make RPG Maker games, at least use the option to NOT have people's faces in the chat space. Everyone in the game is the same person.

I've got a number of complaints about this game. First, it's got the "Zelda-like" down, if by Zelda-like you mean involving combat with a sword. There's nothing, like puzzles, to break up the monotony of locking enemies into a chokepoint, unless of course you consider that to be a challenge. As many others have mentioned, this game needs some balancing. Enemies have too much health to be beaten in quick combat. Another problem I've got is that sometimes, when an enemy attacks you, they get stuck in you and deal far more damage than they normally deal because you're essentially stunlocked. I enjoyed this game at first, but it rapidly got boring as the gameplay got to be repetitive. I was scared to switch my sword for a different weapon because I didn’t have the stat points to build it and I didn’t want to take the risk. Explain how weapons work, more stat points, puzzles and gameplay balancing and something built on this engine would be quite fun.

i gained 10 levels on privit island and died by posion. so i went to town bout 30 antidots and continued my adventure

Combat is pretty lousy, the quests are imbalanced, the ending is a painful cop-out and i really just... wasn't impressed. You did a nice imitation of the Zelda look, but missed the feel entirely. Not terrible, but I can't give it more than 3/5

It's very, very frustrating that potions are the /only/ way to heal. The option to return to your house and rest to recover HP would be appreciated. And I second the comment that's being tossed around about how tedious combat is, especially at higher levels.

Nice, I found another way to reach pandora cave without having to find and defeat 20 red slimes. Progress went from 69% to completion of the game in 15 minutes. Safe to say, side quests aren 't all that important

I also have to ask a couple of things. Firstly, why give me a side quest to kill certain I'm not going to see until so much later, and give me a really worthless reward I won't really need because I'd be too powerful afterward? Secondly, why does the shield accessory give vitality points rather than dexterity (which even then makes little sense but that's the closest thing to defense in this game). Shields give you a better chance to block, they don't usually give you more life. Finally, why am I going through some cave filled with really tough monsters to get a book to learn how to swim? I really can't just, I don't know, ASK someone to teach me? Same with the pushing manual, you need a book to tell you how to push a rock? And I guess the manual only tells you how to push it one single space then never again unless you reset the screen.

It's an alright game, but so far there's just a lack of good plot, humor, or combat. It kind of feels like it's aspiring to be like Mardek or Zelda, but it's just a little too bland and tedious. Not bad, but not incredible either.

fuuuuuck that, level 63, and now my shit is gone. fuuuuck you tremor. i was almost done with this game. i was in love. played for about 5 hours yesterday and get on today after work, alll it was gone. thats some straight booty hole. shiiiitin on me

Ugh... I wanted to rate this game higher... mostly because there's SO MUCH game here, and a lot of work was put into it. But sadly, despite that, the gameplay was unbalanced and stale, and the maps were uninteresting. I can't give this more than a 3.

Not sure how any of you did finish the game. I can't get passed the third screen. Tremor games is a good name for the publisher...this games makes you think you have tremors within 3 minutes of playing it.
