So water damages you. I say that as I walked into it 5 times by holding down at the start and never made it to a save.

Charming and fun. Old school gameplay but not overly frustrating. A couple of times I hit a little bug where I couldn't get my guy to stop walking in a particular direction, but overall a nice little game.

Sound settings should be consistent from menu, or from save file. My ears are now bleeding and the midi music just played right over the top of some fire kpop mix

Goddamn, this game just starts falling apart near the end. I'm not even talking bout the poor balance in enemy hp or insanely overpowered poison, no, there's spots where you can go to a screen transition and end up inside an object on the other side and just phase through it. I was able to completely skip the last locked gate and also swim out of the map, crashing the game. Without even trying, I've also somehow skipped the entire last dungeon. Apparently there's a hidden teleport spot at the entrance that brings you straight to the end. It's on the bottom-right of the the T-shaped blocks, directly at the entrance by the computer, in case you're wondering.

The Hard Badge of this game has 11,516 awarded, 166 less than today, Is a really irrelevant information but you know, maybe someone find this interesting =D

In the whole game just one type of enemy (the pale balding guy), in the last cave (Pandora's cave on Doom Island), moves too fast for the overall strongest weapon, the best axe (Zombie Ripper) - so take (also) the best sword to that last quest. And when leveling up ALWAYS increase strength (or almost - I also put 4 points in luck and noticed useful increase in finding hearts). 0 points in vitality required - I used +strength +vitality ring, and when that stopped being enough, started increasing natural armor skill (revealed after putting 3 points in swords), and got +12 strength ring instead. Yes, surprisingly, this game favors a "glass cannon" melee warrior.

When you have a manual for something you can invest a skill point in that action, namely pushing or swimming. Pushable stones can be pushed only once. If you mess up, simply move to another area and back, all stones are reset and all plants are regrown. Any unslain monsters are back where they started and in full health. NEVER go anywhere without poison antidotes. You can save game in computer terminals. Oh, and stay away from water unless you can swim.

looks like i'm playing Zelda. sounds like i'm playing Pokemon. feels like i'm playing Neutopia. controls like i'm playing on a VCS. all of these things are good by themselves. together? not so much. ftr, skills are worthless: no matter how much i'm pumping into something for a bonus, i'm getting a whole lotta jumping jack squat.

getting the pushing skill and then not being able to use it to push barrels that are blocking you from the very next treasure chest you see is stupid as hell

Most of the abilities don't seem to do anything, the more XP levelup doesn't actually increase how much XP you get until you have ~20 points in it. When you unlock a new ability you can't actually use it until you levelup and invest a point in it. 1/5

It's not really good. It's just hitting enemies with a sword 10 times while they stumble back a little bit. I can't find the mother's son even though I DID find him, but he won't come with me.

I don't know what anyone's complaining about, this game is great-- as an example of why Zelda 2 is the only one that used an XP mechanic.

What am I suppose to do with the "Pushing manual". I got it but can't read/use it and still can't push anything... wtf?!

the first enemy is just an octorok from legend of zelda but it looks like with a bit of tweaking thisgame can be lots of fun!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Bland art comprised of mostly recycled assets from God kows what tileset (who often humorously mismatch each other), atrocious hitreg, completely off-target algos for damage calculation and level scaling...
Just a weak, cheaply done Zelda lookalike.

Teleport system has fixed prices, they just are different for different locations. Needs too much grinding before you get enough money to get better weapons. Axes do the most damage, swords are faster. You can get some weapons as quest rewards but buying is the key. So invest points in money collector. You need mouse for shops and leveling up. Customize your keys for arrow key movement and whatever key you wish to wear out attacking.

One of the worst RPGs ever! Shit weapons that barely do any damage, friggin annoying tons of monsters and shit mecanics!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not a bad game, but the TTK is quite too high for me. Weapons are also very expensive, which means you will need A LOT of time before being able to purchase something worth it. Finally, the teleport system should be much cheaper - and with a fixed price. 3/5

First, sound options belong in the main menu screen, not only available after going into a new/continued game. Second, the controls are just clunky: it cannot decide if it's a mouse driven game or a keyboard driven game and I'm constantly removing my hands from the keyboard to use the mouse. There are other gameplay issues, but those are the primary offenders.

Whack 25 octoroks 10 times each, use the computer in the middle of the grasslands, wonder where they recycled the music from, get badge.

It is possible to die before the first save point. My work around:hit enemies diagonally(left/right) in front of me. The quest requiring to kill the first monsters is not at start. 3/5

There's a difference between homage and rip off, and ripping the graphics and sounds directly from the Gameboy Color Zelda games puts this squarely in the latter category.

Did anyone else find a tree that auto swings for about 11-24 dmg when you swing at it? I thought I was swinging at an invisible enemy and got myself yeeted back to the exp equivalent of the stone age.

This game is straight up a ripped off Legend of Zelda GBA game. I recognize the sounds, animations, enemies, and backgrounds. There's only a new menu interface slapped on, a few new enemies, and a few changed sound effects. Can't find any way to heal either. 1/5

Frustrating. I had to submit a ticket to get the first badge, got the second just fine and now after reaching level 50 my game won't update again so I can get the badge. 1/5 for bugs and irritation =/

@Silmarillion101 you need to go through the labyrinth, there will be a soldier near a campfire at the end and he will give you the sewers key. To get to the labyrinth I think you need to bring 8 bandit or human eyes to a soldier south of windy village, he will give you the key to the labyrinth.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey, can anyone tell me how to get the Sewer Key? There are no hints given and I've scoured the map. At this point, it seems I'm missing something obvious.

If you get poisoned without an antidote, restart the game. There's nothing you can do. Even if you warp to town, it's likely you'll die in town.

if u are an adventurer, you wouldn't left home only with a sword and nothing else, will you?
no place to heal even you have got a home and a bed?
no computer to save at home but a computer in the middle of nowhere? you should let me know "how to save" at the very beginning, not after i got poison by the snake in the hidden dungeon and died few times. the swing of the weapon really need some polishing, need to be quite exact in order to cut a grass/ flower or hit an enemy.
invulnerable time after being attack is too short.
you should add a "Danger! deep water" sign near the 1st pond, so that people wouldn't walk into it and lose 2 HP without knowing what happened!
