Small improvement I would enjoy: "6" closes the menu. That's the only time I have to use the mouse and it's kind of annoying.

"You can press the use button to speed up these messages." Here's a better idea: just show me the entire message all at once.

I got the pushing manual and then I cant seem to be able to use or equip it...have pretty much tried everything I can thing off...from normal equiping like a weapon to retracing my steps to see if i missed something, to pushing items hoping for an option that allows me to use the darned book....

(Review Part 2) Language used is also poor and laden with mistakes. Additionally, the objects used in the game were poorly chosen. E.g. I don’t know what I can push with my boulder-moving skill (I know it’s the beige square, but you can’t move most of them). Map design is also badly done. There are no puzzles (you should make use of the boulder-moving skill) and the "labyrinth" is more of a waste of time rather than a challenging puzzle. Not forgetting to mention, there are several bugs in the game such as the UI continuing to show Poisoned status despite drinking an antidote). This clearly shows an absurd lack of polish or testing whatsoever if I can pick out so many wrongs. There’s is so much more potential especially with the RPG-Maker engine and I feel you are maximising it. I hope you take my criticisms seriously and polish up your games before posting it. For your effort at least, 1/5.
Well, seeing what you said its clear that you have no idea how to make a game, but you are pretty good at occupying a lot of space in my game's comments box with useless and nosense comments. I put a lot of work in this game... and I have only one thing to say to prove you are really st***id =)
Try to make a flash game with RPGMAKER, you genious, and then upload it to kongregate. I will put you 5 stars...

(Review Part 1) Vastly unpolished. For starters, the panning of the screen is too slow and there’s too many dud openings to the next screen leading to a dead end. Monsters also take a ton of hits to kill (e.g. right at the beginning, slimes take 7 hits to die). The exp skill also doesn’t work. Green slimes gave 1 exp by default and still do so at exp lvl 5. This makes the game too slow and grindy. Moreover the shop is much disorganised and the descriptions to items are poorly done. E.g. Comparing the 12k,15k,19k swords, they all seem similar but the 12k one seems better in terms of damage (79 dmg and smallest dmg range) than the rest. Quests are merely just "talk to this person" and "kill x/x mobs". I also find it ludicrous how to gain entry to an area, you have to do a killing quest for no apparent reason (the dialogue needs to be spiced up). Storyline is also extremely poor and the dialogues of the NPCs and quest-givers aren’t any better. (Continued in Part 2)

I've noticed how i still get damaged sometimes while walking through a field with an "octorock" in an inaccesible area. Also how when a bandit or something gets on top of you and you can't hit it so it just drains your hp.

I found a couple of bugs I'm sure have been mentioned before but you can completely skip getting the beach key at the end, and you can skip the entire last dungeon and go from the first room to the "master"...

Rated 1 star. 1] Flash games are a platform that allows a large amount of innovation and creative freedom. This game has neither. It blatantly steals sound effects and copies the musical style of Zelda. Enemy types are carbon copies of Zelda enemies, your sword swings in exactly the same fashion and for the most part has a very similar visual style to Zelda.
2] What it does differently it doesn't do well. The game outright pauses the game and pops up a text box that tells you you cannot move a stone until you get the power up. Modern gaming has been increasingly hand holding in nature, to the point of insulting the players intelligence in the case of this game. 3] Grinding. Games nowadays are increasingly relying on artificial means of progress that add nothing to the experience but to psychologically compel us to add numbers. Virtual rats in a Skinner box. Used in place of actual game content. I have more to say but no room to say it in.

Is the max limit of floating numbers is 5? My damage shows as ***+ and ***+*. Also I can't tell if elemental weapons can critical.

I don't normally mind the "magical ambidexterous hero" (becomes left handed when turning to the left), but when the sword arc changes based on it, it becomes somewhat of an issue. It seems that the sword should just hit a 180 degree arc in front of you (like Link to the Past). Great game though.

You should reduce the cost of the larger potions or increase the amount they heal. Currently the cheapest, weakest potion heals the most per gold spent and so there is no reason to ever buy the others.

I've upgraded Strength and Sword mastery twice each and my damage is still at "1-3"... It doesn't seem to be upgrading.

I told some poor woman I would find her lost son before promptly heading two rooms over to swipe the families life savings... I missed these kinds of games. :)

I'm liking this so far, but I'm pretty put off by all the ripping from the Zelda Gameboy games. Mechanics-wise there's a lot more going on, but a LOT of the art and sounds are lifted straight from those games. I won't be too hard on it for now, but in the future please work on using your own assets.

Problem that I am having:
Every time I try to start a new game, the screen fades out then fades back in again and again. Unplayable currently due to this bug.

The game is sweet and all, wish you wouldput more effort in the dialog, sure not many read those but otherwise the game feels without 'soul' :P

I can't help but feel that hiding small amounts of loose change in the weeds and bushes was a subtle effort to get us to cut the grass on a regular basis.

let's take Zelda, a great franchise, and add shitty story line and a really terrible Level-Up system =D great idea! 1/5

Flash player 11? when i updated it only went to 10.3 this means that your game is unplayable on my computer. -50,000,000,000,000,000,000 out of a number indefinable by humans until i can get this running on my shitbox computer. all the stuff i want to play i have to update to play and even after i update my falsh player i still cant play them. Whatever happend to the low quality option for bad computers? i liked that guy, and now because he's gone my flash games are condemned to horrific lag spikes! fix this immediately!
